I've been one of ronaldos biggest critics this season but that goal last night has to be one of the greastest any united player has scored in europe if not the greatest

The one Rooney scored vs AC milan back in 2007 was good. When scoles lefted the ball to him over the defence and he just slotted in. Buti f you're talking about individual effort this is probably the best.

it depends what you mean by the greatest. in terms of significance?? no. in terms of history??? no in terms of individual skill?? prob not, as it was a shot. in terms of shooting?? probaby yes.
it was a beatuful goal, but saying it was the greatest is being a bit too generous in my opinion.

Can't think of any atm, maybe in terms of overall team play and build up there are better but I can't imagine there's been any single finish that's been better, it was an absolute bullet, the keeper didn't even get near it and it was from all of 40 yards.

forget the significance rubbish, judge the goal, he scored from 40 yards people, I'm trying hard to find a better goal, scholes against barcelona last season and the one he got against panathanikos back in the day. I'm struggling to think of any better than that, I'm not be generous, personally ronaldo gets on my tits but you have take your hat off to that strike

I'm trying to think of a better one, but all I can think of is great team goals, rather than blasters like Ronaldo's last night. I think I agree. I'm watching sky sports news now and it gets better every time. I'm gonna have to say yes.

It's certainly the best long rage shot by a United player in Europe. When he took the kick I was wondering what the hell he was doing but man, WHAT A SHOT!

I would call it football's version of a real 'moneyshot'

it may well be one of the best shots from distance but there are many other goals which arguably we better in terms of build up, solo performance and inventiveness etc. That aside it certainly was a fantastic goal that will be replayed forever!!

Individual goal probably yes , can't think of many in the recent years. Just saw Sir Bobby's goal on daily mail but i guess this was way better.

I think I've got to say yes. I loved him last night, I'm not gonna get over that goal for months!

David Beckham, the Camp Nou, United are tied at two goals apiece with the Catalan giants and up steps Mr. Beckham with a absolutely scorching free-kick. Just on the subject of great individual strikes of a football.

It's because both finished 3-3, and we wore our away kit for both games aswell! Anyway, awesome free-kick!

It was a fucking beautiful goal. It looked more like something Nani scores than Ronaldo. Good on him!
