Preach. I was asked to list my top five boxers ever the other day and he was in there - Tyson, Ali, Morales, Mayweather, Barrera. Hatton to be shown up for the over rated chump he is. He already proved he's not as good as he, the people around him or the British media think against Mayweather, why go through it again? If he does win, he'll just get another a spanking from The Pretty Boy! Pacqiao to win, TKO. 9th round. THERE'S ONLY ONE MAYWEATHER ONE MAYWEATHER HE TALKS THE TALK AND HE WALKS THE WALK WALKING IN A MONEY WONDERLAND! top five list is strange i would put sugar ray leonard down as the greatest of all time. imo couldnt pick 5 all time, maybe 5 out of each era, cant wait for this tonight, hatton will be dangerous in the early rounds with blows to the body trying to slow manny down, i dont think he can, hes like a wasp. stoppage in 8 i say and will put a tenner on it at 14/1

For me Mike Tyson was the best ever, for the same reason I pick Georgie Best as the best footballer ever. He had demons which cut his career short and for that reason he's often not picked as THE best ever but they are in my opinion, before their downfalls they'd have beaten anyone. Muhammad Ali, that goes without saying. Eric 'El Terriblé' Morales, he is one of the best pound for pound, ever. His trilogy with Barrera, are for me the best competitions between two boxers ever. Epic clashes. He lost a few bouts towards the end of his career but at his peak, one of the best to do it. Floyd Mayweather, undefeated, the best of his generation as you said, and would have been one of the best in any generation. Six championships in five weight divisions, a defence to rival any of the greats and speed and power on the attack. Plus he sported a United shirt before fighting Hatton! As for Barrera, although he beat Morales 2-1 in the trilogy he comes fifth for me. A great boxer, although a short arse, he was never really intimidated. Probably a controversial choice and I'd agree at that but he's always been one of my favourites.

You get ya money back if the fight finishes within three rounds too! Up til £15. The PPV cost.

morales and barrera were two special fighters i think Pacquiao is just as good and can be mentioned in the same breath, i think im right in saying he has beat them both twice. and his fights with marquez were epic.
fighters like hearns duran, Cesar Chavez, haggler , could all make somenes list, probably depends on your age

Blue Square wouldn't accept my method of payment for a period of time! :S D'oh. Bet with Ladbrokes, I'm cock sure with words but not so cock sure with my money on the line, lol. £10 on Manny Pacquiao to win within the rounds 7 - 12 at 12/5. Will get £34 if that's spot on. £5 on Manny Pacquiao in the ninth round at 14/1. Will get £75 if that's right. And £6 on Pacquiao to win on points at 10/3. So that's £26 if that's right. Ideally, I'd like a 9th round TKO as I'd get £109 but I think Pacquiao will win and if it's on points, I've covered my losses and made a drink or two. Really nervous now!

Sugar Ray will always be on my list. This is hattons weight, so lets see if he's as good as he proclaims at 140lbs. The pac man is so fast, I predict 8th round knockout in favour of Manny.

That was painfull to watch. Poor Hatton, he didn't start well and that seemed to knock him a bit, there were one or two moments you thought he could dig deep and get back into the fight but Pacman was too good for him. Different class. What a KO.
That has to be the end for the Hitman. I can't see any reason in deluding himself into believing that it was his preperation or his trainers fault. He should retire now.

Your bets fell quicker than poor Ricky. It is a sad way for his career to end, but end it must. There is nowhere for him to go from here, doesn't stop him from being a legend though. Perhaps not in terms of ability, but in his all-round persona. The most worrying question as far as I can see now though is where does British boxing go from here? There's no one left to back.
