If it happens mate, which is a big IF, it will happen in November. There's no real boxing that goes on during the summer months, Jul-Aug. I'm praying the fight gets made, but mayweather has to get past mosley first, which is far from a done deal. Mosley is an excellent fighter. I going with a Mayweather UD!!
If anybody wants to get a buzz for this fight, watch Mayweather / Mosley 24-7 on youtube. Mayweather tears him apart with the verbal jabbing lol!!! Some parts are very funny, rips mosley a new arse with his verbal blasts!

If Floyd wins then I really cant see the Manny fight not happening.
It would be the biggest grossing fight ever! Personally for me (not being around for Thriller in Manilla, Rumble in the jungle etc) it would be the biggest fight ever.
Floyd is a money grabbing whore, he wont pass on it simply because manny wont have blood tests just before the fight.
He will spend his mosley fight money in a few weeks he will need the fight to keep up his lifestyle.

my mouth is watering for this, i hope manny knocks ten lumps of shit out of that arrogant american whore.
however as much as my heart wants Manny to do him over, my head tell me thats mayweather will frustrate manny and outbox him over 12 rounds.

Thats what will happen mate, manny is very easily frustrated in fights, it happened against cotto and clottey when he didn't get the KO that he was looking. Mayweather will pick him off! But it will be an awesome fight, but i think this weekends fight is far more intriguing. You have arguably the best boxer of the past 20 years (some say of all time) and arguably the best welterweight of the past 20 years getting it on. But mayweather is too good,. I have a dvd of his fight with hatton, and it was so impressive how much of a novice he made ricky hatton look like, considering at the time ricky hatton was undefeated.

Mayweather is a great boxer and my personal favourite simply because the way he builds his fights. His incredible ability is just a plus. On the recent topic of Floyd V Manny, I'd have to go with Floyd. He's embarrassed a lot of people, and his counter attacking ability is just next too none.....but the main catalyst in a Pacqiao win would obviously be Freddie Roach. The man's a genius but has failed against Mayweather once already with the Golden Boy.....!!!Ahhhhhhh!!!! I just don't know I keep changing my mind!! I just want to be neutral and enjoy it TBH!!!

the most dangerous fight for mayweather imo, the opponent has the skill and power to inflict the defeat so many want to see, sad to say but if he loses then the press will rubbish evrything he has done till date, so many want him to lose just to discredit his great achievements till date. i wont watch this fight till i know the winner. good luck floyd

i said i wont watch it but i did and i am happy that i have seen quite possibly the greatest boxer. floyd displayed everything controlled aggresseion, skills, defense, attack, heart and a brain. in round 2 he took the punishment held on literally and showed mad balance to not go down. from then on it was a 'i'll show you who's boss. the combo of having father and uncle train him cannot be underestimated as his balnce of defense and attacking was superb. mosley is a class act but was made to look ordinary, as floyd said and mosley nodded his head in agreement, if paquaio wants to fight he should take the tests, nothing to hide then take it, even johnny nelson said the same. this aint floyd running rather its want an even playing field. the rubbish of the fighter being waekend is crap as bboth fighteres would take the same test. all in all floyd is thee man

Hello everyone, I don't know much about boxing but I have watched Pacquiao fight on a few occasions and he is a very exciting boxer, I heard that his fight with Mayweather got cancelled, does anyone know if it will happen in the future?
Thanks

mate the fight involves too much cash for it not to go ahead, this issue is the testing and i for one support floyds stance, if the guy is clean take the tests and we get it one and see who is the man, i think floyd would win and clean too, in that ring he has plan A,B,C,D and E if need be, he just makes people look silly and can raise his game. the shots shane hit him with i was suprised he stayed on his feet, anyone would have been rocked, he handled it well recovered and demoralised shane in the last 30 seconds, shane probably thought i got him clean with my best twice and he took it. boxing on nights like that are brill mate. the fight i think will happen this year however if it dont floyd will just move up a weight get another belt and keep looking good, reality is there are fights out there for floyd whereas with manny this is the only one for him.

Bit late posting about PBF, but i'd like to just say I was in awe watchin him against Mosley, take this into consideration in his last two fights, he's made the number 3 and 4 fighters in the pound 4 pound lists look like fucking beginners, and come out with not one scratch on him. Seriously no one can touch him, hes that good, he would pot shot pacquaio all night, and pacquaio would be left demoralized and beaten. The only fighter I thought would give floyd problems was Paul Williams and I stayed up to watch him fight last night and I wasnt that impressed at what I saw.
Mayweather could quite easily go up another two weight classes to middleweight and still not be troubled, so Floyd has plenty of options other than pacquaio. I also think Pacquaio also has options, he is Bob Arums illegitimate love child and he will feed him everyone of his fighters until pacquiao calls it a day, that will include Cotto (again), Foreman, Margarito etc etc.

coogie mate williams did look not so hot i agree. on manny what are his options he wont go up in weight he will beat all but mayweather in his weight class maybe shane would do something if he gets past berto other than that mayweather is the only viable challenger i think

Aye Yez he looked fucking woeful to be honest, which is really suprising. So much for the most ducked fighter in boxing lol, im sure mayweather was looking at that and saying "easy pickings". He struggled against martinez and now cintron in his last two fights. Maybe people are starting to figure the punisher out.
Mannys options are going revolve around fellow Top Rank fighters, unless the mayweather fight happens, as i've said before bob arum will not let him fight anyone who has a decent shot at beating him outside of his promotion, at least with mayweather whooping pac, arum stands to make big bucks out of it, and thats all that weasel is interested in. If the mayweather fight doesnt happen, i think he will fight the winner of the Cotto Yuri Foreman match at Jnr Middleweight, cotto is gone from welterweight and will not drop down again, either this or arum feeds pac margarito. Who will get destroyed by pac, and i mean annihilated.
Couple of cracking contests tonight, really looking forward to the mitchell and katsidis scrap, and the amir khan fight is on itv early hours, but i dont think I would stay up to watch that wankhog, however I am predicting he will beat malignaggi.

Anyone watching Kevin Mitchel v Michael Kastidis at upton park live on sky sports 3? God it's such a tribute to everything that is cockney, it's utterly overwhelming, theyve been putting in as much west 'am references as they possibly can as well
