The punch, at 0:17, is pathetic, and the offendor probably have to go to court after the sorry effort, if youre gonna attack a ref then do it well ffs:L, appearing in public after that tame effort is enough punishment for the clown.

I'd say the umpire sneaked away down the tunnel straight after the final whistle. It was his fault, not the referees.

Being from Louth I was at the game.
Was disgusted, but the decision the referee made was a disgrace.
Tempers were flaring to say the least.

From what I've heard Meath are considering giving Louth a replay. fair play to them if they do. wonder will it be the same ref?

I was on the hill. Which was the opposite end of the pitch. If he had of coming my direction it would have been a strong possibility.
I didn't fancy my chances running Croke Park pitch without being rugby tackled by security.
Yes they are supposedly considering a replay. But Louth are not holding there breath. There is no hope of a replay.

Yeah 50+ years without a trophy.
No I just went along to the semi's and the final because its my county.
As I said I said before United's my only interest really.
If the referee had of making that decision at a United match and I was there we'll then yes I would of running on and possibly choking him !
What county do you follow ?

I'm from Clare so I support them. It's all gaelic football back my way so I've no real interest in hurling.

No they don't. They are attempting to try and introduce it to the young lads in the county.
Can't see it taking off do.
