Delete the thread. Don't want anything to show or remind me this jug eared worm actually played for us.
Hope we get the cunts in the champions league and Fellaini breaks him.
Thought I hated Rooney...this cunt has nothing on him the fucking snake.
He's disrespected the club, the fans and especially the No.7 shirt. What a fucking tool he is. Hope his career plummets from here on in.
If Rooney wants to get my good graces he'll snap this fucker in half.

ADM's motto of "When the going gets tough, I snivel and run away" pretty much suits his playing over in France. I've very little doubt that when he is on the pitch he hears "footsteps" and his apparent fear of getting clattered is not suitable to playing for United, who will get the best of every club they play as a matter of course.
He did the club a favor by removing a very large wage bill, United might have lost some money on the transfer fee, but in the end, the money they save on the wage for a player that likely would have been "injured" most of the time will make up for that loss.

Lets everyone watch endless Pedro highlights together and be happy.
We can switch to Schweinsteiger if we run out, then Herrera..

I've seen a lot of people online saying it's a bit of a Veron situation with Di Maria. Talented player, but the league wasn't quite right for him etc. That's horseshit though really. Veron stuck it out for a bit and ended up leaving for another Prem side. He was obviously keen not to be a failure in England. Di Maria bottled it sadly. Granted he was clearly affected by his house getting robbed, but that's surely no excuse to switch off to the extent he did. He wasn't willing to stay and fight for his place in the team. He wasn't up for the challenge. One of his substitute appearances last season (forget who it was against) was the worst I've ever seen. Anyway Fletcher's house got robbed and he never fucked off.
I don't really hold any ill feelings towards Di Maria as such though because he was barely at the club and in the scheme of our vast history, he's a complete and utter irrelevance. I'm not going to waste my time brewing up hatred towards someone who barely had a cup of coffee at United. I'll save all that for Rooney who has been getting on my tits for a decade.

Veron didn't spit the dummy out and go AWOL. He just couldn't adapt to the premier league. He did well for us in Europe though. Di Maria failed at united because of himself, nobody or nothing else. This stuff about being robbed is a bullshit excuse. Up the security and move then. He became lazy and couldn't be arsed in the end...that had nothing to do with his house being burgled.

Couldn't agree more. The other players seemed to be quite fond of Veron. I know Keane and Scholes spoke highly of him. It'll be interesting to see what the current crop will say about Di Maria in a decade or so.

Hoping they do it after a day or two, let alone a decade could do with some of the players showing some passion. Bound to have annoyed a few of them at least surely.

Putting on my serious cap here - I'm really disapointed how this one has panned out. Some questions though;
Surely someone at the club knew that United wasn't his prefered choice? Has he been fined at all for his transgressions? Why are footballers constantly allowed to hold clubs to ransom like this? it really boggles my mind how we're paying a player millions of pounds a year - which they signed a legally binding contract for - that they can just decide not to play this game or that game, decide they don't want to train or go on tour or even worse that their time at the afore mentioned club that payes them millions is now over so they are leaving.
I'm going to point the finger slightly at Bosman, if that ruling didn't happen then clubs could just hold players registrations for an indefinate time.
the absolute worst of it is that he'll go and have a stormer over at PSG (regardless of the state of the league) and that will make this event even worse to handle.
The falklands are ours.

The falklands are ours. The Bosman rule seems fair as hell to me. It does swing the power the players way so perhaps they could put in a clause that instead of leaving for free they leave for a much smaller fee. Take a bit of that player power. He was fined two weeks wages I think for missing the tour. As for the point about us not being his first choice, that happens & we desperately needed players. We should definitely go back to Ferguson's type of signing though. Instead of buying Mercs we need to buy players who will give everything.
