Picking Carragher as a CB is ridiculous enough but as a cover for Glen Johnson, oh dear !! Cannot wait for Johnson to do his ankle (or whatever) and Cara getting ripped by a decent LW... Even Donovan could run rings around him, I suppose...

yeah, Johnson has hardly had a great season either. I personally think hes too overrated.

Nev should have been in there - i reckon RB is going to be capellos undoing. That and if he picks Johnson as his left midfielder

yeah. he talks Carragher out of retirement after one of his worst seasons ever and yet overlooks consistent performers like Phil Nev - who can also play left back and Gaz who has had a brilliant 2nd half of season. Given that Gaz has always been a consistent performer for england too whereas Carra threw his rattle out of the pram when he retired in 2007 cos he wasn't considered a "first teamer" for england i think its terrible that Capello has endorsed his attitude

yup, well to be honest i've always thought a group of cricket like selectors pick the team and not the manager

because with sven he must of had the same 11 for 4 years or something with the exception of seamans retierment and rooney comming through
