The England team visited an orphanage in Cape Town today. "It's heartbreaking to see their sad little faces with no hope" said Jamal aged 6.

Ha! You see, it works on two levels. The actual joke, and the title of the thread.

Ha! You see, it works on two levels. The actual joke, and the title of the thread. I seem to remember Norman Whiteside in the 1982 World Cup. My God, how he survived all those games playing by himself in every position because he had no teammates to pass to. I know, its not easy to have confidence in people you don't even know....

Not entirely sure what you're on about with this blather. Gerry Armstrong, Pat Jennings, Martin O'Neill, Sammy Mac, Jimmy Nicholl, Big Mal all played in that 1982 side. Those are names you might recognise. I'm sure Big Norm had no idea who that lot were. So your memory is a tad loose, I'd get that seen to mate.

Please, don't even go there about Armstrong, talk about an obnoxious cunt. It is impossible to watch Spanish football with him emptying his load when he goes on about Barca or Real, so much it makes me sick. Fucking impartial, he doesn't know the fucking meaning and he is just as bad as Alan Green, if not worse.

Gerry does come across as a fucking moron though doesn't he? 8 minutes of fame playing for Mallorca and suddenly he qualifies to talk about all of Spanish football for life. I wasn't having a go lad, I was pointing a couple of errors out. Hence my memory crack. Unless you really do have serious issues with remembering things (if so, sorry!), I wasn't trying to peg you with anything. Chill, it's all good mate!
