In circumstances like that the goal should of been given to stop the ghanians having to take a high pressure penalty, I don't like this fucking stuff of players carrying suarez around on there shoulders like a fucking trophy business. Now if one of our lads does it against the dippers or the massive then i might change my opinion in a flash thats football i guess.
Solskjaer was a hero when he got himself sent off against Newcastle because he did it "for the team"
It would be ridiculous for FIFA to extend his ban for unsportsmanlike behaviour considering all the instances of 'players holding their face when they got tapped on the shoulder' that we've seen in the WC so far that they've completely ignored, so I fully expect them to give him the additional 2 games knowing FIFA's logic.
Why though? He was punished for it. Red card and a penalty.
i kno but theres just no place for that kind of thing in the game, i dont think ghana were hard done by because yeh he got sent off and yeh they got a pen which they MISSED! so saurez cant be blamed for that but if hes getting away with a 1 game ban then some players might start taking advantage abit

I don't get all this uproar over the hand ball to be honest. Why should a penalty goal be awarded just because this happened in the last minute? Ghana wouldn't be complaining if it was the first minute and they could play 90/120 mins against 10 men as they did against Australia. In fact people usually complain about the double whammy of sending off and pen as being too harsh, but now it's not harsh enough just because it was the last minute or they missed the pen? The rules shouldn't change just because the stakes get higher as the game goes on.
Suarez did something illegal, knowing the consequences, which were duly dished out and got lucky because Ghana bottled the pen. That's not his fault.
History, tradition, giving youngsters a chance to play football and winning... It’s the biggest club in the world, the best supporters in the world, we have got the best players in the world.

cjjagzmoni: Pogba is a good lad minus the showboating..I think at Juventus he had Older players like Pirlo,Chiellini,Marchisio,Bonucci who shout and screams at him so he was more serious at Juve ,We dont have those type of leaders at United to caution him.
