Another trophy in the bag ;D
[glow=red,2,300] United's Reserves made a victorious start to pre-season preparations, overcoming Curzon Ashton to clinch the Jack Crompton trophy.
Goals from Magnus Eikrem, Ravel Morrison and Nicky Ajose had United three clear by the interval, and a fine fourth from Robbie Brady secured the victory.
Just seven minutes had passed when Eikrem turned in Joshua King's centre, and King claimed his second assist just before the half-hour mark when he found Morrison with a long ball forward, and the tricky youngster arced home a cute lob.
Within long, Ajose clinically turned in United's third from close range to effectively end the contest. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Warren Joyce made seven changes at the interval, and substitute Brady quickly set about turning in an eye-catching performance; smashing a long-range effort against the bar before curling home a sumptuous shot.
Skipper Cameron Stewart thumped a shot against the Curzon post, while Zeki Fryers and Oliver Norwood both came close. At full-time, United legend and Curzon president Jack Crompton presented the trophy named in his honour, marking a highly satisfactory start to pre-season preparations for the Reds.
United: Devlin (Johnstone, 46); Wootton, Chester, Gill, Dudgeon (Fryers, 46); Stewart, Possebon (Norwood, 46), Morrison (Tunnicliffe, 46); Eikrem (Lingard, 46), King (W Keane, 46), Ajose (Brady, 46).[/glow]

No coverage whatsoever.. Anybody have a clue as to what the heck is happening with Petrucci ? I thought he recovered from his previous injury towards the end of last season. He seems to be absent for eternity
