Great start to Diouf's loan at Blackburn, he got the equalizer today in a 1-1 draw against Hearts in a friendly.
Matty James played the full 90 minuted for Preston, and King came on for the last 20 minutes.
Cameron Stewart got 15 minutes at the end for Yeovil, in a 2-1 win.
James Chester played the full game for Carlisle in a 2-0 win. Good to see they kept a clean sheet, and from what I've read he contributed .

Yeah as often as I can anyway. Tune in to BBC football league highlights tonight to see all of the lads (bar Diouf) in action.

I'm watching it too, not a hope are leeds going up with this performance. Yeah Schmeichel has been brilliant, possible long term replacement for VDS?

Cheers mate. Yeah fair enough but what keeper is that good at his age? When he gets more experience he could turn out to be a top drawer keeper.

I like Matt James as a footballer. I think he's filled out a bit. Looked much bigger when playing for the England U19's in the summer. Preston will be our 2nd team this year I think. What with Fergie, James and King!
Agreed that PNE are our 2nd team now, I found myself feeling a little gutted when they went behind today. For anyone that cares,Preston are live on BBC on the 11th of September against Burnley. Hopefully King will be a first team regular by then. That game is also a local derby.

Didn't PNE get beat at home today, if so, that doesn't bode well.
Yep, lost 2-0 at home to Doncaster. Dissapointing stuff..

Edited the OP, just remembered Craig Cathcart has gone on loan to Cardiff. Hopefully he gets a game tomorrow for them, there live on sky against Sheffield United.
EDIT: It's Danny Drinkwater on loan at Cardiff.

Fair play on the thread Irishred. I feel some of these lads will just float around on loans til they're snapped up by someone, abit like Frazier Campbell.

Cheers lad, I have genuine hope that James, Campbell and Welbeck could turn out to be quality players in a few years. I'm undecided on Diouf, he's impressed me on very rare occasions, but I'm willing to give him time to show his worth. Chester is a decent defender but his lack of height is a real problem, I've been reading through a few Carlisle forums and they have praised his performance today. I can't really comment on Stewart, haven't seen him play that much, just a few videos and that. Hopefully he can turn into a first team regular at Yeovil after a while.
