To be honest - who care's? it's hardly breaking headline news - the tabloids need to focus on other stuff rather than this tripe Totally agree man, its a sad reflection of where society is now, when we could have tragedy unfolding somewhere in the World, but people would rather read about Rooney banging a hooker or Hatton taking some charlie, who gives a fuck, their lives let them fuck it up. The British public are obsessed with this Celeb culture at the minute and until that goes away, we are unfortunately stuck with this type of shite in the papers

Until it goes away ?
I don't think it will go away mate, as you said they have developed a obsession but it's not just the press it's the general public they lead sad life. Gossiping on ones miss fortune.

Agree with most of what is said. It seems to be getting worse.
This past year alone has seen scandals involving Tiger Woods, John Higgins, the Pakistan cricket team, Ricky Hatton and any footballer with a fucking pulse.
I find it depressing seeing new scandals every month in the tabloids but then there aint much else for them to write about, so it helps that the sports stars are failing to tone down their shit

His Father and mother were on sky last night, telling of how there sun couldn't cope with the pressure of letting the fans down. It was quite emotional watching his family break down in tears, we sometimes forget in life that our superstars are also human. Hope Rick has a speedy recovery in hospital.

Sometimes sportstars do have themselves to blame if you think about it. He said he wanted to help youngsters once he retired but, I cannot see that happening now. Fact is, he had his ass handed to him on a plate, a vicious beating from the Pacman and now his whole inner-being is shattered. He is no longer the man he used to be.

Yeah but i'm sure it's difficult to accept all the same no one can imagine it until you actually in that position. He is built mentally to think he is unbeatable, all those months of work down the drain he is bound to be depressed. He obviously turned to drink and drugs as a cure.
For me that's the difference between a 'good' sports man and a 'great' sports man. Great sports men show professionalism both in there sports and outside there sports.

I dont agree that he sprialled out of control after his KO by Pacman. Thats bollox. Its no secret that he was flying off the rails long before that fight even took place.

He was well off the rails even before his fight against Floyd Mayweather too, everyone could see that. After he won against Kostya Tsyzu, he took it too easy.

He was always a drinker Hatton. He never kept his body right that is why he was never a boxing great, he had many years left in him instead he decided to abuse his body. Silly boy.

He always did abuse his body. Too much drink and no training between fights until a few months beforehand. Its just this time he's been caught, I wouldn't exactly be surprised if he's being doing lines before (undetectable for tests after 20 hours I believe). Never really the role model professional and got what he asked for because of it.
