There's something refreshing about watching the academy and reserves. Its a nice break away from all the stress and nerves that go with the first team nowadays.

I felt very nervous the way our defence was playing. All in all there are some promising young players there. |

Its good to see there was four u18s on the pitch at the end, and I have high hopes for all of them. Fryers looked impressive in the bit of the game I saw.

Devlin needs to cut out his errors when he is one on one with a centre-forward. Brown needs to just calm down with his passing as when he hits the ball, it goes at 100mph. Apart from that, very impressed with the Manchester United reserve comeback. |

I thought Devlin was the real deal a year back, but I'm slightly sceptical now. Tom Thorpe who came on right back is one of the top defensive talents we have coming through, great to see him getting a few minutes at this level. BTW thats 3 consecutive 2-2 draws for United at all levels.

He just needs to keep up the good work. As for the 3 consecutive 2-2 draws at all competitive levels, we are clearly failing to dominate teams in the last 10-15 minutes of games and letting them come back. |

Great goal by Eikrem in the dying seconds -esp as he had not had one of his better games. I could see him doing ok as part of a 3 in midfield -in the way we were hoping Cleverly would this season.
