God I miss that guy. I also showed me that, despite what I had thought, Nani has a very long way to go before he's that good.

He didn't play until late September at the start of the 08-09 season. That's the only one I can think of. Best player in the world.

Absolutely immense player, and from what we've been told, he deserves it. He wanted to be the bes player in the world and unlike some youngsters who take for granted their natural ability and the fact that they play for a top club, Ronnie worked hard to ensure he got to the very top.
One of the few players I have wanted back after leaving. The others were Van Nistelrooy and Pique.
The guy deserves to be regarded as a United legend, and the fact that he speaks highly of United - the club, the fans, the players and the manager, makes him all the more legendary. Also gives me hope that we could one day tempt him back.

I'm positive this video misses his penalty goal against WBA the game immediately after Geroge Best's death.

I think I'd almost forgotten how good he was. We obviously miss him, that goes without saying. But the Prem misses him just as much. There's nothing like him here right now. The best thing going.
I think you can almost pinpoint the moment when he got an aura around him. When all of a sudden he wasn't a skinny little kid anymore. Can anybody say best player in the world?
Still funny when the day he left some United fan was asked how he felt. He said "Shocked and stunned. Just shocked and stunned". Wasn't that bloody shocking was it? I mean it's not like it was out of the blue.
