Brady to the Bucs apparently done and being announced tomorrow. Another thing I love ruined by the glazers. Is that move good for either parties? From my rudimentary understanding, seems to be very little good that can come off it for any of them apart from selling jerseys and publicity? It’s hard to tell really. Their coach Arians is very good with QBs but Brady was clearly waning. They do have some serious weapons so it might work. It’s basically either a Zlatan or Bastian signing for the Glazers, time will tell.

Melvin Gordon to Denver. Good RB duo with Lindsey.

Melvin Gordon to Denver. Good RB duo with Lindsey. Yes, very pleased with that. Gordon is a really good reciever out of the backfield. Something Lindsay isn’t great at. Elway has had a very good FA so far. Needs to get one of the top 3 WRs in the draft and then we’re pretty much set. If Lock takes that leap forward I’d expect a wild card next season.

Gronk returns!
To join the Bucs. It’s official now. 4th round pick to the Patriots. I’m not going to lie to you, this is tremendously, hilariously satisfying.

The fucking Packers man. What the actual fuck are they thinking? It doesn't make sense at all to draft a QB right now. And no, it's not the same as the Favre - Rodgers situation.

You don’t draft a QB in the first round and not play him within 2 years. And with respect, Rodgers has always come across as a bit of a prick so I can’t imagine it’ll be a comfortable situation. The Broncos did this after the 05 season. Got to the AFC Championship, needed pass rushers but traded up and drafted a QB. It set us back years. BTW, Jerry Jones really needs to fire Jerry Jones.

I’ve been critical of Elway as a GM recently but he’s been brilliant in the last 12 months. Our Offense has gone from a train wreck to potentially a very exciting one very quickly. And it’s young too.

Exactly. Everyone and their dog knew that Rodgers needed some weapons because outside Adams there really is no one on that offense. No RT also and the run defense is one of the worst in the league so a ILB was also a huge need. But no, why not trade up and get a QB (and not even a Rodgers situation where Favre was threatening with retirement and Rodgers, who was one of the top prospects, just slipped right in the their lap). You look at what Patriots did with Brady and what the Packers have done with Favre and Rodgers for almost 30 years and you realise that the entire organisation is much more important than one player. Wasted talent.
