Stewart, tons of reports circulating that Rodgers may be a Bronco soon. I mean I know you refuse to belive they'll trade him in the first place but so many analysts are saying the fact they went for Surtain in the draft rather than a QB may be because they know something about the Rodgers situation that others don't. How are your nerves mate

I think this is how other people perceive him as but he really isn't. He's a great guy and that's not taking into consideration his incredible talent. You'd absolutely love him. That being said, I pray to everything that is holy he's not going to leave us. I'm not sure he's necessarily right in this instance but it all might be media noise and the whole thing was blown out of proportion.

Man has been ignoring his offensive coaches for years, runs broken plays and then gets upset when he's either sacked or throws an INT etc. Incredible talent but he's one of the more selfish QB's I have ever seen. Also has really underperformed in the post season ever since that early SB win.

Most of the games he's lost in the offseason have been because of the absolute atrocious deffense the Packers have had each year, except the one he's won the Super Bowl. Not sure where all this is coming from. He's single handedly dragged the Packers again and again in the regular season and playoffs. The media love to shit on him because all that garbage gets clicks.

I'm with smeagol. To me he's the reason Packers are even relevant. Take this conference final as an example, the ball was taken from his hands at the most vital moment and sealed Brad's win.
He's been hampered by that FO.

Maybe the Love pick was kind of questionable. The really harm was done in the second part of Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy's tenure I'd say. They got complacent, didn't invest in the defense and the offense was just Rodgers having to be a hero every single game. We've been looking much better since LaFleur came but the deffense is still an issue.

I read a statistic that in the last 10 years, they have drafted 0 weapons for him, taking 9 defensive players. The one offense player they took was his replacement.

I mean he's very publicly fallen out with multiple coaches, had a toxic relationship with Mike McCarthy for over 10 years, openly showed frustration on the field with teammates etc. Not to mention he doesnt even speak to his family. He's the common denominator

Gute's been the GM since 2018 and I think he's done an outstanding job. They didn't draft offensive players in the first round yes, but he does have one of the best WR in the game, one of the best RB and has always got on of the best O lines out there.

He's the common denominator The first part is just not true. Not sure if you've followed the Packers more than I have or just read all of this from the media. And his family are just idiots and has been proven over the years. Go and find me an ex team-mate that has something wrong to say about him, except Greg Jennings who's butthurt.

Jennings like you said but also Biamila, Finley and his issues with McCarthy was very public by the end. Plus Jennings on his own is a pretty big voice in that organisation as you know. Top 10 All time GB WR comes out and criticises Rodgers you have to take notice.

Today's news says he wants Gute out, which going by your opinion would seem harsh then. He does have those two guys but looking at the wealth available to teams out there these days, I'd say it's fair to say he probably needed a bit more?

Aye, not gonna lie, some more help would've helped. I really doubt all these reports are true. It doesn't work like this in the NFL and even he doesn't have that kind of power and he's smart enough to know it.

Those reports about a deal to Denver being close were debunked a few hours ago btw.
