Is anyone following the cricket world cup?
Can't recall when I was less interested in WC. I want India to win but it is such long drawn out tournament now which is effectively reduced to winning 3 matches.
Normally i'm buzzing before a world cup and can't wait for it, but it is different this time, I just can't get up for it with the same enthusiasm for some reason. Maybe it will change once the tournament starts..
I only care because I want Sachin Tendulkar to lift the trophy before retiring .. thats all !
Thoughts?

Well done Ireland, I have too say i'm not a cricket fan at all.
Lets hope this win helps promote the sport more in Ireland.

really really chuffed for Ireland.. one of my favorite teams, a very nice bunch of lads.. Never ceases to amaze me, how much overrated and hyped virtually all the English teams are. Is there any sport that the Eng national team is actually good at ? ;D ;D

The new zealand - kenya match was brilliant!! Don't even get me started on it mate.. Got a complimentary member's box ticket, so decided to go watch it. Being a Sunday plus low key match and all, reached the stadium by 11.15(IST). Was baffled by the NZ openers walking out and found out that Kenya had done batting  Prob should have checked on telly before leaving  |
