Outstanding result. I believe Tunniclife was immense. One of his best assets is when he picks up the ball in midfield and just drives at teams with it, really gets up a head of steam, he won us the penalty as well and just generally set a great example for his teammates to follow, him and Morrison were superb for us, Pogba seemed a bit subdued, he did get into the game a bit more just before his red, which was incredibly soft, but he seemed a bit stroppy at times, something I'm sure he'll grow out of. Johnstone had a good game in goal for us today too, made some decent saves in the first half.

Well done lads. After last weeks debacle at the dump, this is a great pick me up. I've been hearing good things about Tunnicliffe, some are saying he could be the next Keano? I hope that's spot on. If Pogba, Tunnicliffe and Morrison make it at United, that will save us a few quid, no doubt.

From 2-0 down to 2-2. Good comeback. Morrison got the second after great work from Cole. Pogba got sent off after losing his head when the referee ordered him to retake a penalty.Good game this. Nice to see our reserves not bottle it at Anfield like our senior team did. He got sent off because he got a second booking for stopping during his run up for the penalty, he'd got booked early in the first half too, the commentators on Liverpool TV were talking shit when they said he was sent off for dissent. Ah right. I only started watching from half time. Bit silly to book him really. I think the referee lost control of the game as it went on.

Morrison's second goal was a beauty, what a player he could be. Tunnicliffe ran the midfield on his own.

Bit of Le King in Morrisons winner?
I think so.

Pogba was blatently sent off just to even things up. Penalty against Liverpool and a man sent off, at the Kop end? Referee bottled it.
Tunnicliffe and Morrison looked particularly impressive today, as did Larnell Cole. 'Keeper had a fine game too. United deserved it it the second half. I was celebrating like the first team when we got the equaliser and winner. Cracking finish, and John Aldridge could talk about was the Liverpool defence/goalie.

Saw the goals on the blog. Morrison's winner was sublime. Shades of Eric and Sparky in that. And how can you not love an 18 year old that scores in front of those animals and kisses the badge? Smashing. He could be a major, major talent. You see the likes of him, Tunnicliffe and Pogba and you think that these conversations about a lack of creativity and spark in United's midfield could be soon redundant.

You mean a little like this - 1:28? After watching that second half, I'm all the more excited about the youth we have coming through. I think I have a new youth love. Tunnicliffe, I'm begging you to make the big step!

The team for the next 5 -10 years is really starting to shape up. Anybody else dreaming of another treble with: --------------------? Rafael-Smalling-Evans-Fabio -------Pogba-Tunnicliffe Nani----Cleverley---Morrison ----------Hernandez
Only position we dont seem to have sorted yet is GK, and maybe Lindegaard is a lot better than we all think.

If Pogba, Tunnicliffe and Morrison make it at United, that will save us a few quid, no doubt. Aye Tunnicliffes drawn that comparison for a while and did a bit more to back it up yesterday. Been a while since I've seen a player in a United shirt boss a midfield. He's fearless, flies into the 50/50's, plays box to box and has a real winning mentality. Not the most technically gifted of our youth but he can probably polish up. Possible he may be the first one of the 3 to be physically ready for the first team. Expect to see him in pre season. Morrisons been playing really well since his return from his lengthy absence around his court dates. Its quite reassuring to see that even with past off field misdemeanors, on the pitch he actually looks quite a cool, mature head. Watching him play just makes me think spending £35mill on Pastore would be even more stupid than I initially thought. Apparently he's also moved in with Joshua King, hopefully that's a sign he's sorting himself out. Quite a potent midfield we have, shame we didn't have a proper striker to lead the line. Big result for them yesterday, the Youth Cup is regarded as being an important development tool these days. Understandably why as there's plenty of lessons to be taken from coming back from 2-0 down at the Kop, not to mention when things got feisty and some of our players couldn't help but be drawn into the petulance. Good experience for them and its off to Chelsea for the semi.

I believe it works the same as prem /fa cup, so bans are played out across league games. So I imagine Pogba will play but who knows about Blackett as the schedule isn't set yet and it should be 3 games for him. not sure though.

Loved watching this game. I must admit that my downfall as a United fan is not paying enough attention to youth. I'm very much aware of the players, but not of there abilities. Hopefully I can find a decent stream the next time the reserves play and I can get into it alot more.
