Golf legend, Seve Ballesteros died last night, after battling cancer. Seve won the Open in 79,84, and 88 and was the first European to win the Augusta Masters in 1980, repeating the feat in 1983. He was also the Ryder Cup captain, guiding Europe to victory over the United States at Valderrama in 1997. Sad day for golf fans all over the World. R.I.P. Seve, legend

Very sad news. It wasn't that long ago reports were saying he had improved.

I loved Seve. Not a huge fan of golf but he got me hooked on the Ryder Cup. This clip is fantastic:
