I went down to Swanage a couple of times for some sea fishing. I didn't catch much apart from a load of Mackerel, a garfish, and a small dogfish, but I did get a nice skate. Took me about an hour to reel the fucking thing in. It was like pulling a dustbin lid up through 30 metres of treacle. My arms and shoulders were fucked for days afterwards. It was a decent size, about 7kg, but I was expecting it to be an absolute whopper considering how difficult it was to pull in.

Caught a dogfish and left it in the sink when I got home. I can still remember my mum's screams. |

I'm betting the fishing is better in the Arabian gulf rather than the scouse gulf where I was! Oh it's very good this time of year. The weather is very permitting , and the sea is teeming with variety. I'm not a regular mind you, I go probably 2-3 times a year that's it. But I always enjoy myself and come away with a really good catch. |

What the fuck is it with people in world where they decide to become fucking offended by everything?
Santa claus is now no longer to be referred as male instead now supposed to be classed as gender neutral. Also he is now not allowed to be white as it's deemed racist.
Also some people want to ban mistletoe because it promotes sexual harassment.
Now they want to change the term "Christmas" to winterfest as to not be offensive towards religion.
The latest one a I've read is banning certain Christmas songs like Dean Martins "baby its cold outside" song because the lyrics are offensive. Not a great fan of most of them as they get overplayed but Christ sake like.
Stupid cunts constantly trying push these stupid nonsense agenda's. Really fear for this and the next generation. If you want to beleive in something that's fine but stop forcing it onto other people just because they dont agree ffs.
