I know, It's positive that I'm not there!
Didn't know Trivium had a new album out, but they've failed to match their first album so far.

Ascendancy and Shogun were awesome. Even the crusade was good, just not as good as the others.
Check out In Waves on YouTube. Sounds like a return to their older sound

Shogun is pretty good but they've not lived up to the promise showed with Ascendancy imo.
Crusade is shit minus a couple of tracks. Trying too hard to sound like Metallica.

It didn't help that he fucked his vocal chords - it was worse for the lack of screaming

Didn't mean he had to do a Hetfield impression for the whole album lol.

Positive vibrations are now connecting me to a world of United!
My ADSL 4096k line was installed today, relegating my 3G router to the bench. There will be down-times, as fibre-optic cables get stolen around here (no, I'm not in Liverpool!), but the 3G cell network is GPRS for 90% of the time, no exaggeration!
Anyway, now I'm watching youtube etc for the first time in months. Hallelujah!

thought trivium were a bit of a fag band early on, i'm not into that metalcore thing too much. then we had the hetfield-wannabe era, but i like shogun, listened to it loads of times.
been listening to un-remastered megadeth last couple of weeks. rust in peace and peace sells... are a air of siick albums.

I love Countdown, Youthanasia and Cryptic Writings too, even though they aren't thrash. Shame they re-mastered them all because the new ones are shit and you can't buy the old ones anymore.

Currently I'm rather positive about the fact that I'm having my ears pleasantly raped by Death from Above 1979 and I've booked myself in for my first tattoo next Friday.

I'm looking to get another one soon. My first was a little tribal design I chose off the wall. My next is going to be more personal - I won't go into why, this is the positive thread after all.

funny how megadeth albums from the 90s have been re-mastered, yet metallicas stuff from the 80's still sounds so bad boy today, as far back as kill em all in 83. they'd argue that they'd like and justice for all to have sounded different in retropsect but they all stand up IMO. i fucking love and justice..., don't care who knocks the production.

The Megadeth ones stand up too, they just made unnecessary changes.
I know you can get them online, I have them all, I just mean it's a shame that they're trying to "replace" the originals. An album should sound like it did when it was first released. You shouldn't go back and change it years/decades later. I feel the same way about movies.
Justice is my fav Tallica album btw.
