The fact that they are leaking this to the media shows what they think of us fans. Take us for complete and utter fucking mugs. Blind man and his dog knows Lingard's true value. And they want us to believe that Leicester will let go of Maddison for effectively 45 million and a stick of gum. In fucking January. Club has been a joke for a long time now, but this is hilarious.

Not to mention, took 2 months for them to close deals for 2 players nobody else was interested in, by paying the exact same amount of money the clubs were asking for in the first place. Thankfully, Ed isn't a hostage negotiator.

So the Arthur side of the Arthur-Pjanic FFP dodge swap is completed.
Give it 2/3 days and the other side will be formally done too.

This is also an interesting thread about how barca are really fucked financially because of covid. Had no idea about the Spanish 15% rule

Proper champ man deal that, like when I'd play a net game with my mates and all just swap our big players for the sake of it.

Sane going there for that price probably helps us with the Sancho deal, as sets a precedent, and I think Sane is a better player right now, than Sancho.

Possibly, but the deal is still worth up to £54.8m and he only had a year left on his contract, plus Sancho is 4 years younger and English, so basically we're still going to have to pay a fuckload for him (£80m+ I'd imagine). Sane is a massive loss for City - very very good player and likely to be one of the best in the world within a year or two.
