Saw Dark Shadows last week. Disapointing from Tim Burton and I've been a fan of his since the 80's. Not as crap as Alice but nowhere near Beetlejuice or Sleepy Hollow. As much as I really like Depp, they need to take a break from eaach other as it's become stale.

I'm stoked for Moonrise Kingdom, the new Wes Anderson film. Was released yesterday in the US (I think?) and it's already getting crazy reviews.
Also, I love Wes's films.
Bill Murray, Edward Norton - enough said.

I just hope those trailers didn't give away too much, because from those it very much like it follows the same basic arc as the original alien. Hopefully there will be a surprise or 2 along the way, but I am looking forward to it. For my recommendations I'll name 2 films I didn't know about for their release but eventually stumbled upon, so maybe some other didn't either. Two comedies- Idiocracy which is some quite excellent satire and Four Lions as British comedy about terrorists, hilarious. Wouldnt mind catching The Raid - |

Just finshed watching "Project X", quite a good film, God I wish I could be at a party like that, preferably not hosting it though lol.
