Finally got round to watching Mortal Kombat. I enjoyed it more than I was expecting.

Watched a couple of movies in the last few days. Lockdown, what else am I supposed to do.
Watched Boss Level, which was stupid fun. Didn't exactly hold out too much hope but figured What the hell? It was actually entertaining enough.
There was also Kursk, Secrets We Keep, Unhinged, and Force of Nature.
Kursk was good, SWK so so but decent enough, Unhinged not the best, and FON was like Boss Level, dumb and quite fun. And both featured Mel Gibson which seems to be the kind of movies he's decided to make now, Nicholas Cage-esque "Yes we know this is stupid, just switch your brain off for 90 minutes not every film has to be Schindlers List" kind of movies.

Those are the types of movies Gibson has been reduced to, given his bizarre (and let’s be frank, nasty) behavior off set. None of the big studios will touch him.

Watched Mortal Kombat this week. NOT a fan. Also watched Unholy yesterday, extremely formulaic and predictable. Watched Wrath of Man today ,heist-type film directed by Guy Ritchie Jason Statham at his taciturn best. Highly recommended.

Mississippi Grind.
Great film. Has anyone in Hollywood ever played a desperate, pathetic loser better than Ben Mendelsohn?
Watched Under The Skin the other night too. Very weird. Can't tell if I enjoyed it or not to be honest.

Get the Gringo is the best one he's done of that type.
