Have you seen it in black and white yet? Fantastic. Yep. That's the one I watched most recently. I thought it was going to be just a gimmick but it really works.

Well I finally finished Nope- without offering spoilers the ‘big reveal’ was all rather a let down, with the film just petering out to the final credits. Very disappointing, for me anyway.

Mrs. Harris goes to Paris is a really fun film.
Brian and Charles is one of the strangest films I've seen in a long time, but it's pretty funny. I'm not sure who the guy that made it is, but I imagine if Joe Wilkinson was given free reign to make a film, this is the film he would make.

All quiet on the western front on Netflix is a film ill not forget in a hurry. I've been thinking about parts of that film the last couple of days.

That scene with the tanks, fucking hell. That scene is gruesome but the ones I find most disturbing are the first scene with the uniforms and the gentrys total disregard for their own men. The way German directors make war movies is very much a reflection of the how it effected their culture. There's no heroes in this movie. Just a desperate scramble to survive somehow. Its the greatest anti war movie I've seen

Watching Air Force One, terrible movie but noticed a great link with Friends. Anyone remember the episode where Joey goes to the Laundrette and wants his picture put up on the wall? The Russian guy who owns it then watches a tape of Joey's show and says he won't put his picture on the wall because his show is offensive to Russians. Joey then says that he has Harrison Ford's picture up there who killed a bunch of Russians in Air Force One and the guy who owns the laundrette says he has never seen it. He's actually in it!

Air Force One is a terrific movie! It's so bad yet watchable and entertaining(ish); a bit like Under Siege. They're all just shit cousins to Die hard in the "Stopping terrorists in a confined space" category.

Bullet train is a really fun film if you're into ultra violent and bloody comedies.
13 lives is excellent. There aren't many better directors at dramatising real life events than Ron Howard.
