Wonder where they're going to have fixtures this year. Looked at them last year and they were ages away from me FFS. ABB - Anywhere But Belfast - by the looks of things. EDIT: Ballymena is usually the closest you'll get to Belfast. It's about 40 minutes drive away. The rest are all at least over an hour. Likes of Limavady or L'derry are even longer. Ballymena Showgrounds is a nice wee ground though, if we get a 'draw' for there. Nightmare. |

I just read that LvG has pulled our team from the Milk Cup...
There is so much going on behind the scenes with Manchester United’s academy at the moment.
Louis van Gaal has pulled the U18s squad out of the Milk Cup to end a 25 year partnership with the youth tournament in Northern Ireland in what is part of a major re-shuffle of the pre-season plans for the academy.
As for transfers, there are lots of players arriving and others being given trials. Here, South American duo Jhon Pereira and Robert Ergas are pictured during their trial at the club.
We covered reports of Pereira’s trial at the club back in April and it seems Ergas was on that trial with him as well.
United have already signed a 16-year-old goalkeeper in Ilias Moutha-Sebtaoui, fellow keeper Vanja Milinkovic, 17, will soon join the academy having spent last season out on loan.
Van Gaal is a meticulous man who has a real attention to detail which he is now applying to the academy both in players he is signing and how the whole foundation is set-up.
I wonder what he has planned instead?
