Oh no, the Grandad sport. Although I use the term sport lightly, and I could have gone lower and posted about darts, but everything always seems to be about Phil Taylor. Anybody watch it? Play it? Been to a crucible? Eesh I'm running out of questions. I haven't played much, but I can safely say I'm gash when it comes to angles. The table is ridiculously big, even for my gangly frame.

Love the snooker, can watch it for hours, O'Sullivan is my favorite player. But I never played snooker, believe it or not, we still here, in all of fucking Bosnia, we don't have a snooker table, I am good at billiards, but would love to try it out on snooker table.

I feel the need to have a whip around and donate a snooker table to you guys. You decent at billiards? Yeah O'Sullivan is one of the greatest to ever hold a cue, the way he pots with both hands for fun is breathtaking, although he is his own worst enemy and it shows in his mood swings and performances. And hence the drop to 9th in the world. Did you catch any of the PHC?

Didn't catch any of it mate, but when you mentioned it, I YouTube- it But I agree about O'Sullivan, most gifted player ever to grace snooker, don't know if by now someone had broken his record of most fastest 147.

Did you see the Shanghai Open, Anderson? If so, do you reckon that Williams has a point when he says Selby hit the pink first? I've watched it over a million and one times and I can't make up my mind.

O'Sullivan is a genius but a massive tool.
John Higgins is where it's at, not as quick as O'Sullivan but the greatest matchplay snooker player possibly ever.

Yeah it would be JH for me too if he wasn't a match-fixing Scotsman. I kid. Another one who will always be remembered as a world great. The final of the WSC was a cracker against Judd Trump but I am glad he won it if only for the loss of his Dad. He held his nerve after a battling display from Judd only to allow the emotion to creep in during his interview. It was refreshing to see. I prefer playing pool and watching snooker. Due to the fact that snooker is incredibly hard to master. With stuff like shot clocks and WS shoot-outs being introduced, the faster players are only going to thrive whilst the slower players, I am looking at you Ebdon, (although being colour blind can't help) are going to falter whilst trying to adjust.

It would be a shame if players like Ebdon get forced out of the game I reckon. Yes, he goes slow as get out but he is also a great player. I like him, still remember watching him win the World Championship.
Higgins got caught up in something that was a lot bigger than him. He took his punishment and came back to win the WSC first time of asking. I think it shows how good a player he is, and the strength of his character.

Yeah he blamed it on the Russian Mafia didn't he, said he went along with it because he was scared. At the time he was a little too much into the booze so nobody knows what exactly went on. But then what people do outside of the sport/thing I am interested in doesn't bother me in the slightest. I just like snooker and on that basis he is, to me, a great player. Although it must be hard as a professional at something, anything. To be constantly surrounded by dodgy folk with fingers in all pies.
I'm wary of there being two separate types of players sticking to and winning their preferred competitions. WSC - the Ebdon's of this world and the Shoot outs - O'Sullivan's of this world. That is why I am hoping that these newly introduced competitions and amendments will just stick amongst the rest instead of slowly taking over. Unless of course the players cope quite well. But I shall reserve judgement for now.

Higgins is a great, are are Davis, Reardon, White and Alex Higgins, and O'Sullivan has the most jaw dropping ability to ever play the game, but Stephen Hendry is the greatest player the sports ever seen. Every record going, he has it. stolen from wikipedia consecutive wins of a single tournament, longest consecutive winning streak (in ranking events), most centuries compiled in one match (7), most centuries compiled in one tournament (16), most years ranked world no.1, most career centuries (over 750) and highest total prize money. He became only the second player to compile more than one maximum at the Crucible [21] and the oldest player to make a maximum in professional competition. He also holds the records for the longest unbroken run of appearances at the World Championship (26 times) and the longest unbroken run inside the top 16 in the world rankings (23 seasons Never liked the fucker, I was a White man, but he was stupidly good.

Masters draw: Ding Junhui v Ronnie O'Sullivan, Judd Trump v Stuart Bingham, Neil Robertson v Mark Allen, Mark Williams v Stephen Maguire, Mark Selby v Stephen Lee, Shaun Murphy v Martin Gould, Ali Carter v Graeme Dott, John Higgins v Matthew Stevens. A few good matchups there.
