Comfortably the hardest sport technically in my humble opinion. A lot of people disagree when I say that though You mean snooker? I'd agree with that and Golf is very technical too I played county level snooker around 20 years ago and these pros are at a totally different level - I got hammered by a few guys who turned pro and they didn't do a lot on the circuit

Comfortably the hardest sport technically in my humble opinion. A lot of people disagree when I say that though I know what you mean, it's an incredibly hard sport. Remember an interview with Jimmy White once where he said he thinks 6 shots ahead of where he's at. So many sports it's about doing the natural thing, snooker you're thinking all the time, "Knock this in and get white up there, need that red to come back to the blue, need to hit that with pace, get white back down here, then screw back for this pink after that red, get onto the cushion for that tricky red, etc..." Makes what O'Sullivan does all the more admirable. Plays like he's just doing what he feels like, not really putting much thought into it. And don't get me started on switching to left hand during games!

And don't get me started on switching to left hand during games! Using both hands in a professional match aside beacause that is the single most ridiculous piece of showboating which does not drop his game at all, he's just as quality. He once said when when he got one of his record breaking 147's, he knew he was going to get one when he walked to the table because of how the reds were spread is staggering, genuinely staggering

Not much of a snooker man nowadays. Liked it years ago with Hendry, Davis, White, 'Hurricane' Higgins, Thorburn etc. Snooker has gone the same way today like all other sports. Money and TV are the big thing and rule the roost. But they say snooker is like a game of chess. In chess you have to think 10 moves ahead. Snooker is the same. Only played it in pubs or clubs and thats about it.

Bloody love the snooker. Ronnie & Judd are my favourites. Always liked Marco Fu too but I'm still not sure why. Got tickets to the Masters in January.

I like Trump, always playing attacking snooker. He's good to watch

I hate Trump. His heads so far up his own arse considering he's done fuck all. Ronnie is one of my heroes. Huge fan. I also like Neil Robertson. Despite him being an Aussie.

Was at the Masters for the Murphy-Allen match today - first time watching snooker live. Really enjoyed it and was a great game.

I was lucky enough that my little home town had a pool hall that had 10 Snooker tables, and along with the owner, some players that were quite good. Love the game, and played it every day for years till Dale's pool hall closed up shop. Rarely play now, and while I sometimes see it on internet streams, I miss it. I know one thing, when I went into the Navy, the snooker I played for the 10 years prior to that (Dale let you play when you could show him a comfortable stand at one of the tables, I was 8 when I started) sure made me one heck of a lot of money on the 8 ball tables that filled half the bowling alley.

Jesus Christ, Steve Davis is only 58? He's been around for so long I assumed he was much older.
