What's people's opinion on why Walt Likes Jessie so much. Is it just because he knows he can manipulate him so much?

Isn't that the point, he gets carried away with it, lines become blurred. SPOILER ALERT I actually think the very concept of the show is flawed. By the end of the show this guy was far too smart for it to be believable that he worked for years as a science teacher and at a car wash. He could have done anything he wanted to. They tried but their version of events wasn't enough. I also agree with Bestie that there wasn't enough reason for a completely decent human being to go so off the rails. It was mostly just ego and power. I kknw that corrupts but he went really far over. Still great though. Just my thoughts on it. This. Although an explanantion for him going off the deep end and also being ridic-intelligent could be that he was always that clued in, but for reasons or another was stuck in those unchallenging jobs and he eventually snapped/unleashed the insane brilliance. Still think there was a lot of petty shit he did though that neither progressed the story or evolved his character.

Almost like a project to keep him going, he also helped him to get away from his boring ass life
