No, Must be to just give them game time. Either that or they are planning on selling him, so its just a case of keeping him match fit in case, while giving a couple of the youngsters a chance to prove themselves up front.
He would have benefitted alot more from going on loan to a PL club.

Bah, I had done a really good job of dropping my hopes for him purely because he is on such a knife edge with his career. Then he goes and reminds me what a talent he is. He seems to have been doing the right things recently though, i saw some pics of him with Jones and Smalling at a Hospice.
