Arsene Wenger has hinted that his 15-year reign at the Emirates could come to an end next year.
Speaking to French football publication L'Equipe the 62-year-old stated that he will review his position at the end of the current season.
"What is hard is the feeling something is finishing. For me, we're now talking short term, it's obvious.
"But whether it's with me or someone else, it changes nothing. My successor needs foundations on which he can be successful."
When asked whether he would be in charge next season, Wenger replied: "We'll look at things at the end of this one."
The Frenchman also admitted that losing Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri in the summer was "painful".
"For the first time I lost young players, who were reaching maturity. I suffered. It's painful to lose key men you have invested a lot in," added Wenger.

People can say as they please about Arsenal, but I always loved our clashes and war of words.
It'll be a sad day if he steps down. Arsenal just won't be... Arsenal.

It will be sad if he steps down, as much as I hate his moaning and so on he is a big personality in the premier league.
Can anyone see him leaving Arsenal for another premier league team? I can't.

When he does eventually leave it will be a definate changing of era. I'm not looking forward to it actually, for all I dislike the man.

spend the best part of 6 years developing the likes of fabregas and nasri and then they want to leave, id say thats been a real problem for wenger mentally. He's alot like fergie in that he does have a real bond with his players and he's usually the one in charge of a players fate. He's done great things for football in this country.

Yeah, as much as I disliked those Arsenal teams, looking back they were probably our only worthy opponents since Sky invented football. It will be sad to see him go...whenever that is.

Wenger has been mooted to take over England apparantly - what with Arry's heart problems and impeding tax evasion trial. We might see the last of Walcott in an england jersey so Ancelotti to take over from him at arsenal

62 years old, he's either taking the France job if Blanc fails spectacularly or the England job as he's essentially an adopted Englishman now. No way he's continuing in club management.
