Started a new workout plan last night picked up from Mens Health off the back of some great results that have been had.
Anyone heard of TTFB? Tentiger Full Body Work Out
If you workout 3 times a week, say Mon-wed-fri, first week do A-B-A, second week B-A-B, CV on the Tue and Thu.
ORIGINAL
Workout A Squats bench press deadlift military press chinups/pullups
Workout B Hack squats dips stiff legged deadlift dumbbell shoulder press bent over rowing
Must admit, last night after doing workout A I've not been as physically fucked after a workout for a long while!

You'll notice it mentally first. Refreshed, alert, and your mood will be positive.
I think I might murder a kebab tonight.

Still going with the Ten Tiger, feel physically better, lost some body fat also which is great!!
Some of the lifts are a killer on your Hams, especially if you tore one of them in the last year or two!!

There are some odd things people use to detox with and one of the strangest I've heard has to be syrup. Green tea (my cousin is on 10 cups a day. Mad), fruit, smoothies, water. It is often forgotten that the right diets/regime have massive impacts on a person mentally as they're too busy concentrating on the weight. Things start to taste better, you end up becoming full quicker, your skin vibrant, hair silky, a better blood flow (ladies watch out), alert, sleeping better, refreshed, which then also reflects on the things around you, work, friends, goals. You going the whole 9 yards!? Don't forget your colon, ah ha. Bran flakes or an enema (which I'm going in for on the 26th), you decide.

i'm going for a lot of those benefits. not weight loss, just the increased energy. i'm proper lethargic, sleep is shit, bit moody, aches and pains etc. and i ate so many take-aways and fast food meals through 2011 i'm probably loaded with toxins.
for today, sat and sun i'm just gonna eat egg whites in the morning, apples, tomatos, veg (mostly organic) and a bit of salmon and mackerel. then on monday a bit of a fast, just loads of water and maybe some juice.
you're a brave man going for the enema, you'll av to let me know how it goes. i wish i still smoked, a roll-up in the morning always got things moving.
i didn't know u were this health conscious deano, good to know, i'm getting really into it myself.

It is hard for a lot of people to get motivated to do it but once you're into it and have an idea it becomes easier. Especially when you feel the benefits. I try and do what I can at the moment whilst being on these sticks, so the detox helps me along. It doesn't help that the bad tasty stuff is cheap and the good stuff is expensive but that isn't enough of an excuse when you're in a right sorry state, health wise.
Brave to some, stupid to others but I will let you know how I get on. I've never even tried before but good that you've stopped smoking. Your blood flow will thank you.

you can get a home kit to do it in the comfort of your own bathroom, i'm surprised you've not gone for that option.

Violated J, well and truly violated. I feel the need to join a support group. Definitely not a feeling I'd want to experience again but it wasn't as bad as I had imagined. Embarrassing more than anything. They offered sedition or gas and air, I picked the latter but didn't use it. All clear. One more test on the back and I can start concentrating on rebuilding again.
