And that's why you should always skip leg day! Never skip leg day! I hate every second of leg day though. Anyone who enjoys squatting can fuck off I actually quite like leg day, as no bugger at my gym does it, apart from the girls with majestic backsides, so I can generally crank it out in 40-45 mins. Mind I only do leg day once a fortnight as I like box-jumps too much.

She had her legs too far down anyway. Had her legs been elevated slightly there wouldn't have been such an issue. Although the machine I use is tilted slightly anyway so stops that from happening.
My gym is the same, usually everyone eyeing each other up in the mirrors playing mr beefcake too much to touch the leg gear so always get on there for a good set. Usually do 3x 10 sets of 140kg on the leg press followed by a 2nd set of 4x8 sets. Try to mix it up each time I go so it doesnt get too monotonous.

I try to have my feet at the top of the shelf to force maximum efficiency from my hamstring and glutes. This bird is a dafty

Not sure how many people on here know Who Ronnie Coleman is? If you don't, he's a 8x MR Olympia champion and general mucscle machine but recently he's broke his back trying to lift too much and now can't walk! http://instagram.com/p/BBk779zGGS-

Fucking hell, I didn't know about this. Leg pressed just short of a 1000kg if I remember correctly. Shit.

Finally below 118kg bodyweight. Fucking chuffed with that, it's taken a good solid 3 years to get too. Can finally squat 100kg at just shy of parallel too. I can probably break parallel if I sort my super tight hip-flexor out, it's just such a pain to stretch/get warm though.
Next goal is to be able to do a pull-up. Anyone got any tips on how to get there?
Also recently, new PB on clean and press is 50kg, but that's a 1RM. Leg pressing around 140kg, but can probably go heavier, but last time I did a leg press, I gave it big'un and paused on the last rep of the last set, heard something pop in my side, and only just got it back up.
Need to sort the cardio out though, had a PT for that, but he;s fucked me off, and my gym's too small to do a lot of the circuit type stuff I was doing with him. Any ideas?

Started incorporating a lot of Crossfit elements to my workouts lately.
My favourite being a WOD called DT:
12 Deadlifts 9 Hang Cleans 6 Push-press (I can't do jerk presses, so do these instead)
Supposed to be on 70kg, but my technique on the hang-cleans is awful, so i've scaled it to 45/50kg depending on how good I feel on the day. It fucks my shoulders up good and proper too.
Also, came up with my own Kettlebell exercise, which is 500 reps. Although might need to take the Sumo Deadlifts out, because they're too easy, and maybe to deadlifts with two heavier KB's.

My issue is that I've got the body of a 90 lb weakling with the oh so sexy addition of the 30 something spare tire. I'd love to get some upper body strength and bulk, but am basically too proud to hit the gym and struggle with 25s, so I'm going to do 90 days of this and see what happens from there. I'm hoping to lose the gut and tone up first and then look to add some bulk to my chest and arms.

I used to goto a 'posh' gym and it was crap, hardly anyone helped or was interested in doing much more than talking. The best places to go are the back street sweatbox types as the people in there are hardcore and they'd be more willing to help out someone new

I lost a good friend of mine to the gym. He used to be a fun and amusing guy and a great friend.
Now all he talks about is bulking and lifting. His Facebook is wall to wall gym selfies and gym memes. It's been years now and I think he's beyond repair.
RIP Freddie 1993-2010
