That's me shit out with the new series. I was hoping it would be Netflix as I have that. I will just have to keep a lookout on YouTube. It'll be online in HD within an hour of it finishing. I'll hook you up

What’s the most expensive TV show on our screens at the moment? Game of Thrones probably, each episode has an average budget of $6 million (£3.86 million). Well, as of next year it will only be the second most expensive.
Unless you've been living in a cave the last few weeks, you'll know Clarkson, Hammond and May, formerly of Top Gear, signed a deal with Amazon Prime recently and are contracted into a 36 episode run of the yet untitled show. Well, it has now been revealed each episode will have a budget of around $4.5 million.
You can make a lot of things explode with that amount of money.
That totals to around £160 million for the entire series, a budget larger than the first Avengers movie, which also had a lot of explosions.
It was very parochial the way this whole thing started, it's not our forte doing deals. We're all crap at business. Former Top Gear producer Andy Wilman who has followed the trio to Amazon told Broadcast.
The team has also been granted total creative freedom to do as they please, so we can expect more adventures around the globe rather than a consumer advice type format that Top Gear abandoned long ago. The new show is expected to launch in autumn 2016.

zap2it.com/2016/02/top-gear-matt-leblanc-chris-evans-co-host/BBC America announced Thursday (Feb. 4) that Matt LeBlanc is the new co-host of “Top Gear,” the planet’s biggest car entertainment show. It’s the first time the show has had a non-British host in its 39-year history. If you’re wondering why they chose LeBlanc, the former “Friends” star is a known car enthusiast. He has guested on “Top Gear” twice and is the fastest celebrity to date around the “Top Gear” track in its reasonably priced car. LeBlanc also hosts the spinoff “Top Gear: The Races,” where he leads fans through some of the most memorable racing moments from the previous 22 series. Says Chris Evans of his new “Top Gear” co-host, “Matt’s a lifelong fellow petrolhead and I’m thrilled he’s joining ‘Top Gear.’ Acting out our craziest car notions on screen is a dream job and I know we’ll both be debating some epic road trip ideas. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to on screen later this year.” Adds LeBlanc, “As a car nut and a massive fan of ‘Top Gear,’ I’m honored and excited to be a part of this iconic show’s new chapter. What a thrill!” The star of BBC Two/Showtime comedy “Episodes” joins Evans on the show after the 2015 departure of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. Clarkson was dropped by BBC America after he allegedly attempted to punch one of the show’s producers; Hammond and May chose to leave after Clarkson was dismissed. The three have since inked a deal with Amazon Studios. Production with LeBlanc begins immediately; other “Top Gear” cast member will be announced soon.

Doesn't matter who presents it. It will be shit. As soon as Clarkson and co get their show on air the ratings will be comical on the BBC. It'll probably go more towards the 5th gear type of show. From what I've seen so far though Ginger bollocks doesn't like speed or he spews so should be worth a laugh seeing how shite it will be.

I think it will be alright, I'm going to judge it as a totally new show. Compare it and it loses, obviously, but it could be decent

Put it this way, I had no intention of watching it but now Joey is on there I'll watch it out of curiosity. I imagine it'll do big numbers to start with because there'll be a lot of people eager to see what it's like.
To be fair, I was sick of the old show anyway. Still enjoyed the specials when they did them, but I stopped watching regularly years ago.

I'll take a look just to see how different it will be but I doubt I'll be tuning in every week. Chris Evans is a tit anyway. Clarkson any day for entertainment. Some don't like him but I think him, Hammond and May with no restrictions on what they can do will be brilliant.

Can't wait to see what they'll get up to when their show kicks off on Amazon.

Haven't watched it and 2bh not interested in it. They had to act with Clarkson no denying that but this wont last. The trailer looked shite as well.
Fuck you BBC.
