Dexter is a supreme T. V. program. It's dipped a bit after S2, but S4 is a great comeback. Season's 5 and 6 are good without being as excellent as the initial season. Bar was set very high with the Ice-truck Killer.

S6 leaves a nice cliffhanger, which Dex normally doesn't do, so that's an interesting one.

Seasons 2 and 4 are up there as the best TV seasons I've ever watched. The last two have fallen quite a bit short of those standards. Saying that, the ending of season 6 gives me reason to believe that the show can reclaim some of its former glory.

season 1 with the ice truck killer had me glued, watched the whole season in 2 sittings then watced the first episode of season 2.

and if anyone else doesnt want spoilers just use a bit of beige font like we do in the wrestling thread...

I used to love that show, but then they turned it a bit too cartoony for my liking. Like DiNozza always acting a clown etc. Got a bit grating so I gave up on it.
