Read a few pages on RAWK. Apparently there are some things we all missed in the final, well-spotted by the Scousers: 1. Liverpool were by far the better team 2. Their front 3 is the best in the world (someone really wrote that) 3. Ramos deliberately tried to injure Salah 4. Ramos also gave Karius a concussion with an elbow to the head a few minutes before 5. VVD is the best defender in the world 6. Ronaldo is shit 7. They will be in CL finals regularly now 8. Klopp really will take them to the top 9. Robertson is immense 10. Next season when Keita and Kefir come in, it will be their year! 11. Some saying they want to win the CL "for Klopp" because he doesn't deserve to be called a cup loser. 12. They are back. Those pages are bizarre. Amidst that kind of stuff there were a bunch of people pining for a Roy Keane type of player to be an enforcer, others who recognized Modric & Kroos owned the midfield, and that Karius, Lallana, Henderson, and Milner are just not good enough. Ramos definitely injured Salah on purpose though. Always liked Ramos. |

When you think about it this morning, that was tremendous from a Utd perspective. Particularly when you consider how close the apocalypse was.
1. Liverpool were absolutely battered bar the first 20 minutes. Real were pissing about at the end, toying with them.
2. Their best player was injured.
3. Floppo loses yet another final. Each one will weigh heavier on his gurning shoulders.
4. There are still massive holes in the side. They won’t fix them.
5. There was enough controversy with dark arts king Ramos. I guess when you defend a cheat and a racist karma will find you in the end.
6. There’s a petition. A petition lads!!!

I know Ronnie is a Utd great but he’s a drama queen beyond repair. Unless he actually leaves this time stuff after the game was just sad. Did you see him NOT run over to Bale when he scored with the bicycle kick? Seemed as though he merely waved a cursory hand in Bale’s direction. |
