this little boy was SCREAMING United? haha Dutch youngster has foreign team's shirt where hero of Dutch football plays. Shock. Poor bitter Gunners are quite pathetic right now. It's like one of my best mate's next door neighbours when we were younger. Kid was about 6 or 7, loved Michael Owen. He supported Liverpool, then he supported Real Madrid. Or a lot of United supporters in Northern Ireland who started supporting United in the 60's because of George. Except such is our club, even when George was forced out by Docherty, we were already entranced with Manchester United and couldn't ever look anywhere else.

Have you ever seen fergie with such a smile on his face And Van at training today compare to last week with arsenal I don't think i have ever seen RvP with such a big Smile on his Face, he look's like a Kid on Christmas morning with a good load of Gifts he didn't imagine he could get his hands on. Haven't done the slightest bit of work so far and have feeling won;t do any today. Just so Unreal, all along thinking that this won;t happen and then it does. To top it off i am having a good laugh with the Posts on Sun and DM by the ABU's. ;D Ha the Smell of Fear and Jealousy and Nonsensical Arguments-- Missed them

Literally not been this excited since we signed a certain Bulgarian. It's just a great shame that this undoubtedly spells the end for Berba. I'll be very sad to see him go but God I can't wait to see RVP pull on that shirt. And with the number 20 on the back too! A worthy successor to Ole.

From the interview:
You'll be wearing no.20 which has a lot of goalscoring heritage. Are you happy to be in that shirt? I had the option of 20 or 21 and the reason I took this shirt is because we're all here to be champions this year and that would mean a 20th league title for Manchester United. That's the main reason I took 20.

The bosses at Manchester United and Arsenal have not always seen to eye to eye, with tensions often boiling over on the sidelines. Ferguson and Wenger have mellowed with age, though, with professional respect bringing the pair closer together. Fergie - RVP the missing link Wenger would rather not have taken a call from his old adversary this summer once it became clear that his former skipper would not be signing a new contract at the Emirates, but he has reluctantly agreed to offload Van Persie to a Premier League title rival. Ferguson insists talks between the two clubs ran smoothly and believes the deal eventually put in place will prove beneficial to all concerned. "I can't elaborate but it was amicable," said the Scot. "Arsene knew the boy wanted to leave. He knew he wanted to join us. That made it a bit easier but not in terms of trying to reduce the fee. "He (Wenger) could run a poker school in Govan."He got a great price but we are also happy the matter is concluded. "From the starting position when we first started negotiating, Arsene has done well." Ferguson admits he never expected to be in a position to sign Van Persie, a man who ended the 2011/12 campaign as Arsenal's top scorer, but is delighted to have added another proven marksman to his Old Trafford ranks. "We never thought we could get Van Persie," he said. "If you go back six months ago, I couldn't see us getting him. "I thought Arsenal are not going to let him go. When I read he had refused a new contract, that is when we acted. It has been a long haul." ------------------------------- Trying to picture it. Punter walks up to Wenger to collect his winnings. Arsene: What? I zis not see ze incident.

Still seems sureal, feels like weve won the lg already lol. Amazing feeling right know. Cant wait til monday night. Bring on the everton. We fear no1. Had plenty of fun seein arsenal and city fans spew their shite about how hes an arsenal reject and useless. N berties crying jealously trying to smoke screen their ultimate dissapointment at being rejected. Nw dippers are jumpin on the bandwagon as they obv have nothin worth talkin about with their useless cuntish club.

Been having a good look around the media over the past couple of days and boy have the ex-City players taken this badly..!!
Niall Quinn came out with utter bollocks last night, he was whinging about the fact that he felt Van Persie left Arsenal in a certain way, but should have done what Fabregas did. *Yawn*
Watched Quinn on Sky last night and you could tell by his face that he was genuinely shocked and disgusted that we got RVP.
Quinn is an utter cunt of the highest order.
Then Rodney Marsh came out with a comical statement that us signing Van Persie showed that we're 'desperate'.
Yeah Rodney, the player of the season last year, world class striker, who ahem...City were also looking at.
Marsh second utter cunt.
