I can't overstate how important it is that we keep this lad.
I think I may have suggested in the past that if we were going to reinvest the money, he should be sold. That was crazy talk. He reminded me at the back end of last season just what he's capable of.
We should be adding more players capable of magic, not selling the few we have.
But this won't happen. I fully expect him to be at the club next season and beyond.

Then we need to give the guy a contract worthy of his talents, £60k a week for a player of Nanis ability is way below the market rate.We were paying JOS and Big Bad Wes more ffs.

we have offered him close to 100k which i think is fair. also if real are serious then there are some bargains to be had from them, realistic bargains, ronaldo is not one. nani is not in the same league as him for consistency. i think nani can dribble better, cross better on his day but ronaldo excels at being consistent and even on the bad days scores! thats what the best do, thats whta ron and messi do. thats what nani dont do but prob can. 19 million for nani is an insult but if real are serious then we are in trouble, they will use the fact that his agent and real are close also his agent is mourinho's agent

Messi and Ronaldo are freaks of nature though, their consistency and goals exploits this past few years was previously unheard of in top flight Football.
If we were buying Nani how much do you think we would have to pay him?I would say £120k easily.Sneijder, for example, gets £190k at Inter and Nani is far more productive and a lot less injury prone.

I cant decide on Nani. He frustrates me more than probably any other player in the squad, and then he comes up with amazing stuff like the goal against Chelsea last season.
However, I don't know how many times I've seen Rooney frustrated after Nani has wasted an opportunity to pass the ball or to produce something rather than nothing and I must say I feel sympathy for Nani's teammates at times.
Very hard one to call. I wouldn't mind awfully if we were to let Nani go and bring in the likes of Moura, but I don't think Ferguson will let him leave now.
I'd rather see Ashley Young sold to make room for Moura or someone.....

if we get Lucas (which looks increasingly like the replacement for Nani) i say get Sahin plus cash for Nani to Real. that would be the best case scenario should he leave.
however my overall best case scenario is that he stays (and we get Lucas)

as much as we may get for Nani and it may also involve us getting a player + cash deal with a CM involved . I'd Still have Nani here rather than any other person. HE is one of the 2 players we have who is capable of unpredictable genius moments. He may be inconsistent but hell we have no idea if the next player coming in will eve produce half of what Nani has.
we are ready to offer 30 Million for Lucas as Fees , almost 200k as wages for RvP ,yet we haggle for a 30k additional for Nani , 15K for Welbeck. I'd say that we have defo gone bonkers.
Also i still think that this is all Agent and Media build up but i'd rest easy once we tie him up with a 5-6 year deal probably.

Said it a few times on here, Nani is one of our better offensive players.
Letting him go would be barmy, but it's not going to happen.

Nani cannot leave. End of. The only player + cash deal I will consider as something positive for us will be us giving Nani and money to them for Ronnie back to us. Sahin + how many ever millions is a loss to us. Cannot fucking sell Nani.

If we had to choose between the two I would sell Young also. While lacking Nanis outrageous ability he does share his problem with consistency.

Given how we struggled last season (bar the league obviously) we don't need any more players to leave. Our squad gets stretched a lot during any season. Say we do ship off Nani and Lucas struggles. Who plays wing? Tony V and Young? Bebe? We'd be looking at shoe-horning players in a la Rooney or changing formations. Loads of games for players. And this is leaving aside the fact he's one of our best players and one of the best in Europe in his position.
