Heard this on the radio the other day - it is rather bizarre.

I've never really been that into watching the olympics - boring as fcuk.
I'll probably watch the 100m/200m though - exciting.

I think athletics in general is a dying sport.
It's tells you everything that when Ronaldo, Federer, Vettel, O'Sullivan, McIlroy, or Pietersen do something immense everyone thinks "Fuck that was awesome!". When Bolt runs an outstanding time in the 100 or 200, eveyone the world over thinks "Drugs".
That and cycling, just drugs, drugs, drugs. It's destroyed the sport and I used to love watching the olympics when I was a kid, now it's just a bunch of drugged up cheats seeing if they can get away with it before being found out.
Edit** Before it's pointed out, yeah I know they were all on drugs when I was a kid too, Ben Johnson and Flo Jo being the obvious ones (Flo Jo never got caught but it's pretty much well held that she was on drugs, even 30 years later no one can get near her times, even Marion Jones who was pumping herself full of shit as well, and then Flo Jo drops down dead at 40, normal people don't do that.) But when you're 10 years old you don't realise that. Now they may as well just legalize it all and see what happens.

Spain's Olympic squad includes: De Gea, Javi Martinez, Muniain, Thiago, Romeu, Mata, Alba, Tello, Isco, Lopez.
Some team they'll be able to put out.

Madness. That's their Olympic team? It would have done pretty well at the Euros I imagine I am only looking forward to Yohan Blake vs Usain Bolt. That's about it. Couldn't be bothered about the football.

The problem with bolt is half the time he can't be arsed at the Olympics last time round he started slowing down towards the end lol madness, look forward to seeing him hopefully shatter another record. Looking forward to the gymnastics and oh course Jessica Ennis and Victoria pendleton but apart frm that I doubt I'll see much of it.

Just waiting to see how the Opening ceremony will fail in comparison to Beijing's. That, and how we will "fail to meet expectations" with the English-Welsh football team.
