Oh and no matter where you go to watch a Utd game in Dublin be warned- you will encounter scouse supporters. They genuinely watch as many Utd games as Utd supporters seem to. This is literally the case wherever you are watching, unless you're in Manchester. Honest to god, the dirty little fuckers get everywhere. I was watching a game close to the start of the season a few years ago in a really small pub in Cornwall. And when I say Cornwall, I mean not too far from Lands End, in the middle of nowhere. Half hour before kick off, there's just me, the landlord and a local farmer type in there. Then all of a sudden, SIX Dippers come in. Couldn't even watch us play in peace in a place so rural that Google probably never bothered driving the Street View van down there. To make matters worse, we didn't win. Think we drew actually. It was Fulham away I think and I'm sure Nani missed a penner. It's like that thing they say about London. You're never more than six feet away from a rat.

I was in London 2 years ago when the Rats thought they had it won. We were staying north of the City, about an hour away. Went for a quick pint with the brother in law, MOTD was on. Nice boozer and then the locals started chipping in about the football. 3 of them Scouse supporters. In a small local somewhere outside of London. Couldn't believe it. Next day they lost to Chelsea!

I'm in Dublin for the Watford game. My new found family assure me I will be watching it in some pub somewhere!! I'll be staying in Whitehall, which isn't to far from the centre from what I remember.
