Brazil midfielder Lucas Moura snubs Manchester United to sign for Paris St GermainHeadline in the telegraph..... a sentence in the report... Moura, had been a target of Manchester United, but the two clubs failed to agree on a fee for the teenagerFucking journalists... Terrible journalism, without a fee agreed you don't talk to the player so how could we be snubbed. Can't really complain about how this deal gone, we cant and shouldn't be competing at those ridiculous prices. Previously I said I couldn't see the sugar daddies going in, forgot about PSG, but then they are French no marks. city have been restraint so far, Chelsea have spent a bit but their cl success gives a cash windfall. They at least appear to be taking steps to be FFP friendly (for now). I guess PSG just dont give a shit. Platini's been quick to slate the prem, this shit is going on in his own backyard.

Lost alot of respect I had for the telegraph as a reliable source being a sports broadsheet over the past few months, what with confirming Gaitan and Moura to be entirely wrong.
Question now is were we in for Lucas for a replacement winger for Park, seeing as we now only have 3, or, were we after a player anywhere on the pitch who can get fans off their feet? I guess either way Fergie won't be looking for anyone else in these rolls instead this summer, he persevered with this for so long.

well typical transfer period. we persevere for long and end up with nothing. I wasn't eager with Moura in the first place, but god we should have got hints that this ain't gonna happen and found some other targets. Now we go into the season knowing we will be stream rolled. I just hope that Fergie gets Sahin, now.
ring on the 1-0's scoreline otherwise and 3rd place while at it.

Yes the telegraph is a mess - they have for a while - operated in a way which puts 'hits' above real news. I know they go out of their way to put stories on their website which are trending therefore directing traffic through the site. The moura story was rediculous, but it got plastered all over the Internet for a day. It was written by a no mark journalist and quietly disappeared. But job done. I believe only the Bbc and particular journalists, I enjoy reading certain writers columns but as sports news reporting - the papers can't be trusted now as they are so desperate for traffic. You would generally not see Henry winter writing up a story based simply on the trends on twitter but if it's written by 'sports desk' or 'sports journalist' and it says 'could' or 'it is understood! Or 'it is believed' then its bullshit. That's the broadsheets mind, in tabloids the journalists couldn't give a fuck about putting their name to a copy paste heap of shit.

Ah yes, PSG "project". The now universally acceptable synonym for PSG's "money".

I doubt we'd got that far with him. Also its really pissing me off this manchester is boring bollocks. I thought it was a joke - but now its been said again by the agent. If players now wont come to us because of the city then we really are in trouble.

Not really bothered with him going to PSG. He would be a luxury to our squad, a prety damn expensive one too.
Let's move one and get someone we really need - Sahin for example - young, ralatively cheap and wouldn't want to go to sunny Spain in a few years.

Haven't heard anything in days about him. I would be seriously pissed if we aren't at least sniffing around...
