Lot of class from Murray here.
I'm not gonna hate on him any more. He's won my respect.

Federer was on it today and he's just too good, especially indoors. Murray didn't do much wrong, there's no shame in losing to someone whose won it 7 times.

"Federer said: "I think he (Andy) will at least win one Grand Slam. I think I played some of my best tennis in the last couple of matches"
And you ask why I think Federer is an arrogant little cunt. Patronising git. He played well though.

Patronising git. He played well though. 17 Grand Slams and 7 at Wimbledon isn't arrogant, it's just better. I thought it was a great thing to say about Murray. Basically 'I had to play my best tennis to beat Djoker and Andy Murray, Murray is so good he will win at least a Grand Slam.' Don't forget Murray has lost every Slam final he's been in so far, so there could be some argument that he's a nearly man. Federer showed class today, so did Murray. It was great tennis, but Fed was just too good. I said he would be when the semi-finals concluded, but Murray put up an amazing effort.

To be fair Federer deserved it there's no question about that but I will give Murray credit for fighting on. He did well up until the break in the 3rd set and was more an in it, but experience and quality took over in the end. He can hold his head up though (unlikeable, miserable or not) He did himself proud to even get to the final and proved a lot of people wrong which is always good to see.
At least he stays Scottish now because if he won it we all know he would have been British not Scottish.

I thought both men were very gracious afterwards. Are you saying it's a foregone conclusion that Murray will win multiple slams or something? Nadal is only a year older and Joker is a year younger I believe, and they're better players than Murray.

Im gutted for him because he is trying darn hard but its not happening because he has just not been good enough in finals. I hope he wins a slam for his sake because he's such a good player. In any other era he would have won a good few already, he just happens to play in a generation with two of the greatest players ever. I think the pressure on him is unreal at times and the hype around sporting stars in this country who win nothing really is ridiculous.

Tough break for him that he had to be around in this great era for tennis.

Whats wrong with what FED said? If anything I thought he was a top bloke for what he said, he should Murray a lot of respect.
Fed was fantastic today, Murray will be hurting but he'll take a lot of inspiration from the way he performed today.
Almost had me in tears at the end!

And Federer had words of comfort for his beaten opponent Murray, who is still striving for an elusive first Grand Slam title despite reaching four finals.
"I really do believe deep down in me he will win Grand Slams, not just one," he said.
"I do wish him all the best. This is genuine. He works extremely hard. He's as professional as you can be.
"Things just didn't quite turn out for him in the finals liked he hoped for. But today I'm sure he got another step closer to a Grand Slam title for him."
------------------
Wow, how arrogant and patronising of him, truly a horrible man.
(Sarcasm in case no one picked up)
