oh fuck me. we've had one game and let's start writing players off. and favouring players who we've never seen kick a ball While i am not favoring the new guy, you have to agree that Paddy needs a kick up his butt, his standards have dropped pretty low and needs some competition if that will get him back . he gets a fresh slate this season, and he's played one game so far, and he didn't have some stinking game that warrants this stick.

Dutch football commentator Mark Van Rijswik speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "When the news came through about Manchester United it was a very big surprise in the Netherlands that he would make that kind of move. He's decent but he's nowhere near someone like Patrice Evra, so no-one really understood it."
Brilliant. The exact thnig Larry White said about Obertan. Hopefully the lad will make this journo look foolish!

He looks allot better than I expected, he's got a cannon of a shot, looks skillful and extremely quick.

Are there any videos of him actually tackling anyone? You know, defending. Please?

Yeah, who cares about defending?!
SHOTS! GOALS! SPEED & SHIT!
On a serious note - nope.
Apparently he used to be a left midfielder/ left winger and was converted to left back by one of his previous coaches.

Not sure Jim, he is one of the experienced players and one of the 2 fit defenders yesterday and when needed he was doing gash all. Last 10 minutes alone he couldn't get a proper cross in and kept giving goal Kicks. If Nani and Rooney's games were poor , so was Evra and all need to take blame. Maybe he is yet to come back from the Euro thing , but i won't want to give him too may games , if he keeps this up. Where in the Hell is the Paddy we know, he is nowhere near that.

That goal after 1 minute shows lots of good things tho. Pace, determination etc. Good to actually see him in action!

Where in the Hell is the Paddy we know, he is nowhere near that. it's no mystery, he's past his unbelievable, untouchable best. but he's not as bad as lots of us make out. if he was as useless as some like to paint him then he'd not be in the side, let alone wearing the armband in vidas absence.
