Would be disappointed if United didn't have scouts out at the tourney, as well as the Copa America

Would be disappointed if United didn't have scouts out at the tourney, as well as the Copa America I think that they probably will.

MAROUANE FELLAINI has admitted he is coming to the end of his Everton career. The Belgian midfielder, 24, is under contract for the next four seasons at Goodison Park. But he said: “I am just starting my fifth season at Everton, this will be one of my last. “I have seen everything. In January or at the end of the season I will turn to another club or championship.” Fellaini joined Everton in a £15million move from Standard Liege in 2008. He has scored 22 goals in 130 appearances for the Merseyside club.
Very Decent player good age at 24, Could he be a united type player?

Didn't think it'd be long until someone started this thread.. either way you've got to imagine that we would be interested if indeed he was looking to leave. He's got the physicality and presence that we could really do with in the middle, retains the ball well and is a huge threat at set pieces, wouldn't come cheap though, they paid £15m so you'd expect around the £20m mark with the player pushing for the exit as well.

4 seasons left on his contract? Doesn't matter if he's a United player or not, we're not signing him with 4 years left on his contract.

No thanks, I just dont consider this guy top quality. Agreed. He's sort of the midfield equivalent of Peter Crouch. Decent player with a freakish physique who gives us fits but isn't actually that good.

I disagree. I think he is better than what people give him credit for.

I just think if a team, with Fellaini, were to come up against a quality European side that's able to cut off his supply and generally put in a defensive midfield shift he'd be nullified in the sense that his vision etc isn't anything special and he'd no longer be an outlet.
Good player though, will be interesting to see who's in for him.

Haven't seen enough of him to suggest he is a player that can play some decent football.
It isn't as if we are going to sign him and play him as Everton do (hoof ball). We need someone who 'can play a bit' as Jim always says.

Top European teams would just fall over every time he challenged for the ball, like they do with Crouch at International level, imagine Fellaini V Busquets!

I disagree. I think he is better than what people give him credit for. I agree. But he's also not as good as people give him credit for after his performance against us. The thing is, if we bought him fans would love him, for the same reason fans give Carrick so much stick. He throws himself about. Fans are easy to please like that. Not all, mind, before you start hurling abuse at me.

He was decent against us because we let him ( that's how i see it) , that apart there are many games where he is almost non existent. He may be good for teams that pay with a Target Man approach , like stoke play with Crouch , but not us

He's alright. I wouldn't mind seeing him here at United... if only under £10m.
