If you played Phil Jones at Goodison he wouldn't have had the same impact, Jonesey would have had him in his pocket, we were afraid to even contest the ball, that's what made him stick out. Hes a good player but sorry I just don't see Sideshow in a united shirt.
Give me Tiote over him any day.

I'm torn whether we need a ultra defensive midfielder in the XI. I think our CL progress will be a large indicator.
Certainly would add to our depth.

I'm torn whether we need a ultra defensive midfielder in the XI. I think our CL progress will be a large indicator. Certainly would add to our depth. I think we need a box-box midfielder. An "ultra" defensive midfielder would be useful on the bench to secure a narrow win or a difficult draw. Agree about depth. |
