So anyway, I'm on career mode and Wayne Rooney tells me he wants to leave. I'm a bit annoyed of course and the standard Real Madrid offer comes in. I pondered it and thought, hmm, I know. How about a part exchange bid for Ronaldo for the laugh. I offer a straight swap deal and they come back and say they want 9 million at least. I offer 5 and now Ronaldo is back at United... #yahoo# #yahoo# Know what my first transfer is going to be. . . |

Bought the game brand new on ebay a couple of weeks ago.
The dam thing wont play, keeps saying the disc is scratched or dirty.
I'm not a huge buyer of games, I take it that it's quite rare for a brand new disc not to read?
Returned the disc to the seller and I'm waiting for a replacement or refund but I have that sinking feeling that I've been screwed.
So, this weekend I'll probably be heading to the shops.
Which version would you go for?
In a nutshell, what are the differences between them?

I've had a couple of bad experiences on ebay myself. Are you sure that disc was brand new? Was the case wrapped in the plastic etc.? Did you see any scratch on the disc after getting that error? Brand new discs never have that error. I buy a lot of new games and I have never had that issue.

Mmmmm not too sure if it was wrapped in plastic, but it deffo had the seal intact (across the case joint). plus the holograms look good. I dont think it's a clone. It played about a 3 matches first....but failed at an fa cup tournament with error read out and then every time afterwards. I got the impression that there was a certain section on the disc it just couldn't do (it kept failing around the 56 % mark when downloading it to the machine). No refund, replacement or message yet. Good old ebay ! |

must admit i bought a copy from game last week for the pc.
takes ages to load past the fifa13 screen and occasionally crashes. other times works fine

Giggs and Scholes 81? Eh? I get they probably felt they needed to balance things out considering RVP and Wazza are 88 and 89, but some strange ones I noticed from the off.

Figured ratings would be largely influenced by EURO's just as they did with Arshavin, sneijder in the past. Then i saw Welbecks rating. Hazard is a what 87? Welbeck 78. |

The fact that Rooney and Nani are the same made me happy I got FIFA. Not that there was any doubt. EDIT: and Maicon, the Man City 2nd choice left back is 10th....  |

Incidentally, if you play certain players in different positions, their stats can improve greatly. |

I've realized that trying to play the diamond with United's personnel essentially doesn't work.
Any variable of 4-4-2 makes a big difference though.
More than likely I'm just too crap defensively to manage the diamond without conceding 2/3, haha.
