You've probably all seen this, but I only came across it today. Drags it out a bit, but makes the points effectively.
I hadn't realised how complicit UEFA was in allowing City to overturn its ban.

How long does it take to look through a set of accounts and find discrepancies?

How long does it take to look through a set of accounts and find discrepancies? I doubt they've even started.

How long does it take to look through a set of accounts and find discrepancies? Investigations involving city are like transfers involving glazers.

I'd take the piss out of city but we probably have some Brent knock-off doing exactly the same somewhere.
Don't understand who this lots audience is apart from maybe 12 year old kids

Out of curiosity why were Arsenal chosen to play in the Community Shield when they didn't win anything last season? As the Community Shield pairs the winners of the Premier League with the winners of the FA Cup and Manchester City won both competitions surely we had a better claim to be their opponents given we finished runners up in the FA Cup and won the other domestic cup.

The better question would be, who gives a shit? We’ve had a pre-season game today too. That’s all it amounts to really.

It's always been the league runners up. In 94 we played Blackburn in the Charity Shield. In 96 we played Newcastle and in 99 it was Arsenal.

Annoying that Timber looked good for Arsenal and can seemingly play across the back line. Would have been an upgrade on Dalot/AWB as well as providing better cover for Varane than Lindelof/Maguire.
But Havertz is a strange one. Looks very uncomfortable as a number 8. And Rice looks just as ordinary as he's always looked.
For the amount that Arsenal have been willing to spend this summer they could have done a lot better with the £170m they spent on Havertz and Rice.

Havertz in general has looked ordinary in his England stint so far. Rice is exactly what we all knew he’d be.
