We are suing Sports Interactive (who make FM) for infringing on the 'Manchester United' trademark apparently. Our owners are such cunts. Good timing of course, the day after the announcement that our debt had increased. They've been making the games for decades but only now it's become a problem. |

Then again I've never actually thought about it. You don't need a licence just to use the words "Manchester United" FFS. Otherwise the lot of us are seriously fucked. Seems petty and pathetic on our part to be honest. |

The really odd part is that they also cited the fan made mods and are blaming SI for enabling it.
Pretty sure SI have a licence for the club name so quite what the clubs legal team were thinking is beyond me.
The club might want to get another legal firm after this.

They'd overpowered goals from 20 yards out, I signed him and he got top scorer in the PL (almost all outside the box) before they patched it. You can play Championship Manager 1993-94 online.
I started a game up, picked Cardiff with my eyes closed, played a couple of seasons and got them to the 1st Division (then, the Championship now) from the bottom tier. Won the FA Cup both seasons too (fuck me this game was easy).
Best thing was United, 3rd bottom of the league going into the final set of fixtures. Fergie was sacked half way through the season and Keegan appointed manager. Won the last game, Spurs lost and Spurs went down instead. This is the United team that did the double, staying on goal difference. Everton have won back to back titles. What the fuck were the makers of this game on?

Goal difference 113. Martinez top scorer with 37 goals (Rashford and Vardy joint 2nd with 18), 48/48 in all comps. 56 games unbeaten. Won the league Cup. Won the Champions league. (Got passed Juventus, Benfica, PSG, Ajax with Atletico and Lyon in the group). Knocked out the FA cup by Bournemouth (rested too many players). Ten players in team of the year, Henrique won every award (seriously, buy this guy. Got him for £16.5m - now worth £52m). In all my history of playing FM games, I think this is greatest season I've ever had (FA cup was shit though). Liverpool got 96 points and finished 2nd. Couldnt shake the fuckers off. |

21 doesn't have any killer features, but it is significantly faster on my laptop at the moment. Like saving takes less than half as long as 20 did. Not sure if that's the same for everyone playing it mind.
Also it's highly unrealistic as I managed to convince the board to sign Sancho.
