I don't blame him - i wouldn't want to live in Solihull either  It has "Sorry" (If you slur Sorry, it sounds like Soli) in its name, as if it's apologising to Hull. If you can apologise to Hull, the place you live in must be a real dump.  |

Anyoe else have Feeder clubs that aren't 'loan to' clubs? Not commercial feeders I mean. I've just noticed that I'm Affiliated with Everton from a couple of years ago, but don't have an option to loan players there. I picked them, but haven't bothered sending anyone on loan because Everton have too good a team.
The affiliation has:
First option on players
They can send youngsters to train with me so I get a better look at youngsters
We play friendlies.
I pay £ 130,000 a season.
Weird!
EDIT: Just had a board takeover recently where they cancelled a link with Donnie - I think they might have changed the relationship with Everton as well. We're also paying Sampdoria less annual fee (I think).

got promoted from league 1 to the championship - came second though as I frew 6/7 of my last games  also made it to the FA cup quarter finals against Newcastle |

Started a new United game after adding in all of the january transfers/loans. Got good ol Uncle Malc to give me 120mill to spend and went a bit mad. Bale, Gotze, Fellaini (swapped for Anderson), Shaw, Seager (both Soton) Hughes, Bennett, (both Derby) Niklas Sule (Hoffenheim), Timo Werner (Stuttgart), Campbell (newcastle), Green (everton), Cotton (blackburn), Oliver Schnitzler (leverkusen), Alex Grimaldo (barca) & Halilovic all in straight away. Most of them are youth players for the future so im sorted for a while. Wanyama, Ward-Prowse, Zaha & Oxlade Chamberlain to arrive in summer 2013  Sold Nani and aload of reserve/youth players. Bought Cantona in as my Director of Football (had used the editor and made Fergie a director before i started). Bought Neville, Schmeichel, Yorke, Fortune, Butt & Blackmore in on the coaching staff. Will offer Giggs and Scholes coaching contracts in june 2013. Shaw, Cotton & Hughes have played already. Having bad luck with injuries in defence though (art imitating life eh?) and have just lost Bale and Gotze for 2/3 months each. Using the league cup to play the youth players and fringe players - James Wilson bagged the winner on his debut vs Ipswich in the 3rd round. |

Usually it's players disliking players... never seen players disliking management (other than managers). no, have seen it before - been there for a while i think, but has really come good now they added a "reason" for someone liking/disliking another person - "player", "manager" etc. If you look at a players Favourite Staff you can see it. Even the staff can dislike other staff. |

It might have been a fitness coach. But that has definitely happened. Almost sure it was Jefferson Farfan shortly before I sold him to Atletico Madrid for a rip off fee. He's good in real life but was gash for me, never got better than 6.something season average. And he was a stroppy git too. Speaking of Holtby elsewhere, I actually signed him on a free from Inter in the summer. Experienced head and cover for my right-midfield. My conversion of my 4 star newgen Argie right-/wing- back to rampaging right midfielder is working like a charm. It's taken last season to get him 'Competent' in the RM position, so I'm hoping I can get him to at least 'Accomplished' by 2021. |

I just had a lad come and ask me for a transfer request citing 'not enough first team football'. He was moaning last season as well, and I told him he would get his chance. He played 25-odd games last term, and we've had about 5 this season. 4 of which he was away on international duty and the other one, he has featured in. He was also in the proposed starting XI for our European Cup game, that night.
Naturally, I told him to pipe down and said no to the request. The puzzling thing? He isn't unhappy about it. No concerns in player interaction, just Very Low morale. That perked up again when he scored against Galatasary and I team-sweet-talked him!
