this hope this is some elaborate hoax. that collar is jank. fuck me i'm sick of nike. we've not had a kit i've especially liked in years. would love adidas or even reebok to take over, although financially i doubt they can compete with nike. we're probably stuck with them for the long haul like chevrolet. also noticed the other night that all my own gear, literally everything was nike. boots, socks, shinnies, ankle supports, base layers, shorts and top. I'M PART OF THE PROBLEM!

Aha, but have you bought the Nike gear because they provide our kits, or because they make the best equipment? Copa Mundial's aside, I find Nike to have be best stuff. Maybe Under Armour just for the skin stuff. I agree though, I'd love to see us in an Adidas kit again, the three stripes just have something about kits. Look at Swansea's kit this season, it's bloody lush. Or this Adidas one: .......................................................................... Someone did a fantasy United version. It ain't perfect, but it gives an idea. Away version of the Adidas United kit: I like them both, way more than most of our recent kits.

Pure fantasy. As if a sponsor is going to pay megabucks for a tiny logo squashed up like that.
The kits "leaks" are up there with the transfer window pantomime shite as further proof of how the game has lost focus. Christ, the OP doesn't even reference a website. Least the Gingham kit was "leaked" through a United fansite and cited sources.
Couple hours on photoshop, mock up a kit, "leak it" and it gets lapped up by everyone. Bit like the twitter troll who changed their profile to look like Martin Samuel and got half the sports journos believing Reina to Arsenal was a done deal nearly.
If United were to ever give the fans a chance to submit ideas and vote for them then it would make sense, but they aren't.

Yup.
The video is the only decent source so far with everyone referencing it - probably because its the only source with a kit that actually looks viable.
Any chance of changing suppliers will hinge on the talks that are taking place with Nike about an improved deal. So unless someone comes along and offers us daft money to do a DHL on it, then we won't be changing anytime soon either.

I don't have a problem with:
a) Nike
b) The kit with the button collar in the video

Pure fantasy. As if a sponsor is going to pay megabucks for a tiny logo squashed up like that. I know that, I even said so. Someone did a fantasy United version. It ain't perfect, but it gives an idea. That Photshop mock-up isn't realistic, but it shows how classy an Adidas run could be. No-one is suggesting it will actually happen.

And there's one in last season's 'Chelsea' Adidas style too.

We've only had 1 shirt with 3 stripes down it before IIRC and that was in 78: www.toffs.com/Manchester-United-1978-Retro-Centenary-Away/productinfo/1362/It looks horrible on the red - not to mention there are 5 stripes in the white and black on that one above - shouldn't it be 3? If someone's gonna mock up a kit they should at least get it right. Adidas should stick to keeping their 3 stripes down the shoulder. Or do the 78 one above with black and red stripes instead - similar to the Germany shirt you posted Bestie.

Stop picking holes! It isn't an ideal mock-up, it was just to show the idea. I didn't make it, just searched 'adidas Man United kits' and those came up.
Obviously there would be three stripes. I'd probably like to see the home kit with three white stripes and black included somewhere on the trim/collar like the one up there ^^ and three red or white on a black away kit.
I actually really like the three stripes under the badge.

TBH, it would only work without a sponsor logo - which is why the international kits look good compared to the rest. With a sponsor name over the front i don't think it has the same appeal. Which is why the only way it would work is if the badge with the sponsor above was used. Can you imagine squeezing Chevrolet up there?! EDIT - i will only stop picking holes in the fake/shite kits if you stop doing your grammar nazi stuff

Either just the Chevy logo, or just the word would be okay.
Nein. Your opinion that they are shite fantasy kits is mere opinion. My Grammar correcting is fact!
