Remember, it's over 2.5 goal line. Not over 2.5 goals. Thats the mistake I've made. Getting it refunded though I made that mistake too it seems. It's the alternate goal line yeah? How do you get your refund - Just contact them? On the right of the screen, it will say 'services'. Click chat and tell them you want a refund

How're you getting it refunded? I made a mistake the other night with Alternative Goal Line 2.0,2.5 instead of just the 2.0. Doesn't matter as we lost anyway, but it'd be handy to know in future! Cheers mate! (Is it just me or is Bet365 so much more awkward to use than William Hill?) Aye William Hill is wee bit easier use. Bet365 has so many things you could bet on, that it makes it a bit more clustered.

I've also found that Bet365's cash out option gives more money than Bill Hill's and odds are generally better. Plus they have a good match tracker.

Noticed the odds are better and the markets far wider, definitely agree there. It's the just the website that I find really difficult. Think it's because it's all flash based. Getting a better handle on it now though.

Can someone explain the difference between a normal, say, over 2.5 goals as opposed to this over 2.5 goal line thingy?

Can someone explain the difference between a normal, say, over 2.5 goals as opposed to this over 2.5 goal line thingy? Works like this 1 goal means we lose 2 goals the bet is void and stake returned 3 or more and we are in the money Only on bet 365 though.

Can someone explain the difference between a normal, say, over 2.5 goals as opposed to this over 2.5 goal line thingy? To be honest, I don't get it myself. I understand it when its just alternative over 2 but not when it's .5. It's strange.

I understand it when its just alternative over 2 but not when it's .5. It's strange. I don't think there is a alternate over 2 - but I read somewhere else that states some bets have e.g 2.25 and 2.5 - where the former accepts 2 goals, while the latter accepts 3 and above (rounding to nearest whole number). So, if it's alternate over 2.25 goals, you win if there are 2 goals and above; if it's alternate over 2.5 goals, you win when there are 3 and above.

2.5 means that if there are two goals scored, a bet on 'Under 2.5' wins a half. Over loses half.
As far as I know, anyway.
EDIT: Essentially, I take it that half your bet goes on 2 goals, and half your bet on 3 goals.

I just think that over 2.5 goal line is better odds than the normal over 2.5 goals.... for some reason. EDIT: Quite simply, in this case, if there is 2 goals we lose. 3 we win. Simple. It isn't better odds. Its my mind going. The over 2, 2.5 goals market means if there is 2, half your stake is refunded, 3 and you win. Obviously 1 goal means you win fuck all.
